Good unless you need customer service

I was impressed until I needed customer service which is a difficult experience I was due a refund after an item didn t arrive an order with multiple items and one missing which I feel like would not have happened if I didn t chase and chase to get it You can buy and be charged for items which are out of stock Changed from 1 to 2 stars as I got my refund eventually

Rubbish

Rubbish sent faulty item Difficult to contact them No replacement to send me and now have to wait ages for refund They couldn t care less either

Took my money for an item that was out of stock It was refunded in 3 days time-but honestly update your website so you re not charging people for goods you don t have Basic

Yet another Hermes spectacular fail

It s such a shame when online companies use Hermes now branded as Evri like rebranding changes a dreadful courier company to deliver purchased goods Hermes are unreliable and lie about failed delivery attempts Buying goods from companies that use Hermes always makes me think twice about purchasing goods from such companies again

False promises and won t price match

Promises values integrity and ethics just don t stack up A competitor was offering some boots cheaper however prefer not to use them due to their delivery provider I asked Absolute-Snow if they could price match however took 5 days to get a response Tried calling each day but phones were not open apparently due to sickness By which point their competitor ran out of available size and subsequently refused to price match Given me many reasons e g Our competitor may not deliver actual product strange excuse it was below cost price not like for like due to sizing sold out because they took so long They seem to be making up excuses to avoid matching it with little sense applied A shame as their ethics and values seem really strong and attractive They claim to offer a premium service but seem no different to anywhere else I much prefer to support smaller retailers like this however cannot comprehend their false promises and poor service I did end up ordering boots when realised their competitor sold out so I wouldn t be entirely disappointed Tempted to return now out of principle Delivery was fast and email updates were good Shame about everything else and lack of acknowledgement leaving a bitter taste

All was fine until the dispatch

All was fine until the dispatch I purposely checked that they did not use Evri I ordered under the impression re their wording that Royal Mail would deliver it stated this on order acknowledgement But on dispatch it stated Evri well they said Hermes don t know if that was to make it sound better - Evri are even worse I have emailed more than once to complain but up to now have not heard back I have paid for RM delivery and order would have been well on it s way by now instead I have to wait for Evri Unless I have missed it I couldn t see on their site delivery info any mention of them Charging for Royal Mail but using Evri - cheaper for them Dishonest to say the least Since this review I have had an email stating post refund I don t know really what is meant by not finding emails from me one message is shown on their reply email Anyway hopefully they keep to their word re Evri

Not a good experience

Not a good experience Bought shoes at a size larger than usual as recommended by Absolute-Snow they did not fit and I had to pay the return postage The shoes had slight scuffing on the toes so not sure if they were previously returned Tried several times to call them however the calls were never answered so emailed them emails took 24 hours to be answered taking a few days just to get the answer to a couple of questions back and forth by email useless Once shoes were returned informed they only check returns once a week so more waiting for a refund They don t do exchanges one has to buy another pair of shoes but wait some time for the refund from the return awkward if you don t have the funds Not a happy experience

Difficult Expensive to Exchange and Return Items - Think Before You Buy

Received an item I ordered in good time but as it was too large and I wanted to exchange There s no option to exchange You have to return and then buy again but this becomes expensive and time consuming as you have to pay 4 to use an InPost Locker for your return These lockers are not in convenient places and are often full All in all the returns process it quite stressful So would recommend not using this company unless you are sure of your size and that you definitely want the product In the UK I would stick with Tiso Go Outdoors etc for convenience

Poor services

Ordered a bag which I had changed my mind on called the business around 3-5 mins after placing the order to which they told me the item could not be cancelled as it had gone to picking already Not only was this a huge inconvenience for them and me but shows this is not a company whom care about the environment I payed extra for next day delivery and have to pay to return the item that s almost 10 out of my pocket for an item that could have easily been cancelled and it s making 2 trips Personally I would avoid using this company in future and will get a bag elsewhere and would urge others to do the same The only redeeming thing is that the bag came next day as paid for but it just comes in a flimsy plastic mailing bag with no protection at all also it s by royal mail 24 this service is not a guaranteed next day service so I feel like you could pay the extra but there s no guarantee it will arrive

Absolute No

Absolute No Ordered board bindings and boots Boots were pre-order so waited for other items to be delivered in one drop when boots arrived- fair enough Had to keep chasing for updates on boots and after about four weeks asked them to cancel order and refund boots I then ordered exactly the same pair from a competitor who delivered them within a week Board and bindings were supposed to be signed for delivery but were just left in our garden in full view Luckily not stolen The board was the wrong one Same length and brand but completely different model and spec I was informed the one I ordered was out of stock but they offered me the newer version The new board arrived and it was the one I originally ordered It seems like there s no organisation and they are willing to take money for pre orders that find difficult to fulfil Only reason I gave two stars is because they did eventually sort it out and gave me a partial refund after taking directly with one of their managers
