Absolute-S t Having happily taken payment for my order including express 1-2 day shipping they failed to dispatch it nor did they respond to my multiple emails requesting help 8 days later and I m still struggling to get a satisfactory response through their telephone call centre Terrible customer service avoid Update 24 03 23 Having sent proof of all the emails I sent and their automated replies proving they received them they are still arguing they didn t receive them What s worse is they ve still not refunded me DO NOT USE THESE COWBOYS

Terrible customer service

Bought an item from them as a gift When the person tried to charge it there was no life in it at all so obviously faulty Now being fobbed off saying I need to contact the manufacturer directly to sort it out If I wanted to do that I would ve bought directly from the manufacturer Takes them days to reply and no option or refund or exchange called and explained and asked to send an email which seemed ridiculous seeing as I was probably on the phone to the same person who would respond by email

BEWARE

BEWARE I received some bindings which had missing parts sent a picture of what was needed and was happy to just have the missing parts sent out Customer services keep asking for more pictures and actually saying we will need to liaise with the buying team who could potentially get spare parts from the brand I decided just to return bindings as this was getting too messy

Absolute-snow Nope absolute cr4p Ordered an item for two day delivery by Royal Mail in stock at U K warehouse needed for a birthday present being sent by DHL tracking indicates it started its journey at East Midlands presumably the airport so cams from abroad I will never ever use this company again

What s the point of warranty

Bought some Salmon ski boots buckle bent after four days skiing Salmon s shoes are covered by a 2 year warranty against material and manufacturing defects - apparently the buckle took some impact and it s not covered under the warranty Funny as I don t remember the ski boots taking an impact in my four days skiing but I guess Absolute Snow s warranty team were watching me during the trip and thankfully they were able to tell me that they did take an impact As for the service the ticket got closed I had to reopen it they suggested I speak to Salmon s warranty team and they just sent me back to Absolute Snow Wouldn t recommend false warranty advertising and unhappy with the rejection of the claim - unlikely you ll ever be able to claim for a manufacturing default Pretty poor attempt of a resolution Now I have one ski boot useable and one hazardous and defective boot

Buyer beware

Buyer beware If you don t get the right size of item for any reason you will have to pay for its return and they don t offer to exchange for an alternative size Cost 4 to return in Uk I will avoid unless I m sure or use a competitor

Very poor customer service for returns

I had an issue with some very expensive bindings on first day of use whilst in Austria I emailed Absolute Snow just asking for advice maybe a dealer for Nidecker in the resort I did not get any advice just a request for photos in a standard email I found a shop selling the bindings and had a repair done which was very straightforward faulty leaver replaced Cost just 10 Euros AS customer service refused to pay me the 10 euros back as I did not send the photos before I do have a receipt for the work but they want more details and then may reconsider I m not bothered about the money its more about the lack of any help from the company And before you reply AS saying your sorry to hear about my experience etc please read the emails and see if you feel the responses are good enough I did ask for the email address to CS manager but that was refused I m disappointed as I have always used Absolute Snow for our gear but this has been when there had been no problems I will not use this company again and anyone who does be aware that you may not get the service you should when there is a fault

Refund being denied - RX394AC5 - GBP 70 45

I ordered an Oakley hi-pink lense for my fall line goggles that I bought when in Whistler Canada but I didn t know the size When the lense arrived it was packaged with my new Dakine goggle bag that I ordered both items were in the same packaging and there was no specific oakley box that the lense was received in When I checked the lense size against my goggles they were too small so instead of packing the item in the original large box that they came in I returned the item in another small cardboard package I had I have now been told by customer service that they cannot refund me as I did not return the item in the original packaging but no oakley packaging was received The lense was added to the same package that I got my dakine goggle bag in No original oakley packaging was received to house the lense Then also if no response received within 7 days they will dispose of the item Do Absolute snow have proof that the item was sent with the original packaging Because I didn t receive anything I d be most grateful if this can be resolved without going to trading standards - or writing to Matt Madden MD Absolute Snow I have returned the item the exact way it was received Hi Michael I have received the parcel you recently returned thank you Unfortunately upon inspection I can see that the spare lens was returned without it s original packaging It is imperative that returned goods are in a condition suitable for re-sale to another customer but unfortunately this is not the case in this instance so I am unable to issue a refund I am sorry if this is not the outcome you were expecting Please let me know if you would like me to return the goods to you free of charge If I do not hear back from you within 7 days I will assume you no longer want the goods and I will dispose of them Please let me know if there s anything else I can do to help FinlayAbsolute-Snow Team

Skis delivered did not match the images on the website

The buying and delivery process was fine but when the skis arrived they were missing the iconic base design of the Atomic Maverick series which the website had used in their website marketing Worried they were factory seconds I contacted Absolute Snow who were polite but merely changed the photo on their website I pushed back as I felt I was supplied an inferior product Every time I got back in contact the story seemed to change and the responsibility was shifted from Absolute Snow to Atomic - when really the simple answer was for them to approach Atomic directly themselves This was left up to me but now the relationship with both brands is irreparably damaged because of the inaction of Absolute Snow and ever-changing stories from Atomic I had also purchased bindings which were mounted which means returns cannot be made Ive been told so many variations on why my skis don t have the iconic design so I m unsure as to if the ones I have purchased are worse better or just inferior looking Sadly for now I won t feel confident buying from a web based store and will buy my gear in a bricks and mortar store where I can buy exactly what is being sold Ive left this review until the last moment hoping it could be resolved satisfactorily but my case was closed by Absolute Snow
