iPhone 12 02

Since receiving my phone on Monday and transferring info from my iPhone 8 I ve been unable to make calls I did a hard reset today and my texts and calls from my phone are from two different numbers When I joined Affordable Mobiles the first time and went from an iPhone 6 with 02 to the 8 with EE it was great This time I m not impressed

Not there problem No free returns

I had to return the phone due to the SIM card not working a day after receiving the phone You have to pay for your own returns even though the problem was not yours Only way to get anything resolved was to chat online which took me multiple attempts to do The time waiting for an agent was always exceptionally longer then the time it s stated on screen

Very unprofessional

Affordable Mobiles didn t pass my details on to O2 properly so my account was setup under Mr N A N A To get this changed to my proper name I had to contact O2 give them a copy of my birth certificate and proof of address Then when I checked my PAC code also hadn t been supplied to them A lot of hassle and bother that took many phone calls and trips to O2 store over a week to resolve Very unprofessional

Such a shame- started well but then all went wrong

Such a shame Sales team were great Fantastic deal and very helpful however as soon as I received the phone and new contract it all went horribly wrong Sim card wasn t activated so new provider has no record of me and no one at Affordable mobiles bothered to let me know that apparently there had been an issue I have spent all morning on the phone to 2 providers and then finally contacted Affordable mobiles who said there was an issue and someone should have emailed me but didn t I m now stuck with no phone until it has been sorted Very frustrating

Cheap but not a smooth transfer to new provider

Good - Phone arrived ahead of estimated delivery Good value contract phone deal Bad - old number not ported correctly on the stated date Have had to resolve directly with the provider with further 48 hour delay My personal details name not passed onto the provider meaning a frustrating few phone calls failing the security as my name on the system had been entered as N A N A

Phone boxes grubby and dented

Ordered an iPhone 14 when it arrived box was dented and grubby looked like it was second hand It was a Christmas gift and it was expensive so wanted it to look presentable Contacted them they agreed to change as goodwill gesture - nice of them considering it wasn t my fault They also agreed to credit my account with 10 to cover the return postage It never appeared kept asking them and was told 7-14 days after the first agent told me it would be refunded 14 days later - still no 10 and the replacement phone box wasn t in great condition either but to avoid haemorrhaging more postage costs just kept it

Disappointed with service so far

I gave a PAC number on my order but somehow it didn t get passed over confirmed by O2 yesterday But now BT will be confused and old service may have been contracted for another 2 years and I m having to ensure all new stuff is backed up as things are coming through on the old number and on old phone Very disappointed in how this has been managed as I enquired 3 days ago why the transfer wasn t happening Quick enough to set up the DD and grab the first payments even before the phone arrived

New I phone 15 delivered 3 days ago Battery discharge appalling lost 60 in 6 hours when not used other than tp contact Affordble Mobiles to complain Product and contract useless not fit for purpose Affordable Mobiles no help at all Avoid as the back up is non-existent

What happened to customer service

Customer service used to be great now it s non-existent I feel like I m speaking to bots on the chat Order was placed but the tracking says it s processing I have no idea if it will arrive on time or not I was told on the chat someone would contact me but I still haven t received a call Prices are still good so it s worth buying phones through Affordable Mobiles o2 prices don t compare

Don t get a refurb

I wouldn t recommend getting a refurbished phone Two months after having mine it turns itself off and then when I turn it back on it s down to 10 battery I then switch it back off on again and it goes back up to its normal percentage Also it now starting saying temperature of phone too high when charging I wanted a refurb to keep cost low as I m going on mat leave and now it s just a nuisance as can be unrealiable
