Not sure why there s so many negative reviews I ve ordered OEM parts from Amayama for my Japanese import on 4 separate occasions now and the service has been stellar my only gripe is when the parts arrived in the UK the are passed on to Parcelfarce my most disliked carrier in the UK

Great company - just realign your expectations

Great company I ve ordered a number of parts from them - there are occasional unforeseen delays and sometimes they won t be able to supply every part you order but they re very communicative in both cases and refund you promptly if they can t provide the part or if you don t want to wait for it You don t go here for next-day delivery - you go here for parts you can t find elsewhere parts that are marked up to a ridiculous amount from regional distributors or to make use of their invaluable labelled exploded parts diagrams to identify part numbers for a litany of Japanese cars I ordered 3 parts from them recently - ordering all three from Amayama was the same price as buying just one of those parts from any one of the distributors in my country They estimated the cost at 40 more than I paid for the shipping - but when all the parts arrived at their warehouse they were able to package them together into a smaller delivery and refunded me the 40 They didn t have to do that - but they should and they did For that level of honesty in an economy that quite frankly vilifies it I have a lot of respect A lot of the criticisms I see in reviews encompass all of the above - the problem isn t the company as such it s the expectation and what we ve grown accustomed to with online retailers and next-day delivery I m willing to wait a few weeks for a part I can t find elsewhere or a part that costs 1 3rd of it s domestic counterpart and if they cancel the order then it is what it is - I ll get the refund and move on A lot of Jap parts are getting prohibitively expensive or incredibly difficult to find so any service that works to alleviate that difficulty to any extent is very welcome They re not Amazon nor do they have the market to facilitate that level of commerce - so don t go in expecting to have your parts freighted around the world in 24 hours and you ll be plenty happy with the result
