BRILLIANT
Through no fault of Bresser but due to my very own incompetence I lost a gromit a screw from my Polaire Vixen star tracker for astrophotography I couldn t find the spare anywhere online I emailed Bresser directly and asked where I could source one I got a very quick reply by email with a diagram asking if the picture they d sent included the part I needed I confirmed it was They sent me free of charge the replacement I needed They paid for the postage and I received exactly what I needed and wanted This is such brilliant customer service and really restores my faith in business Thank you Bresser for going above and beyond what would be expected and helping out this clumsy oaf Thanks so much

Long delays with delivery
Ordered a Xmas present for my wife from Bresser UK on the 25th November Then on the 28th November received a notification to say the was being shipped Via Evri so all appeared good However I never received any tracking information Several days later I logged into my account to see the status of the order was Not yet shipped so I contacted them via email On the 5th December they responded saying something about opening an investigation into the parcel On the 8th of December I chased again to be told the parcel may be lost and another will be shipped and tracking will be issued On the 15th I emailed again as I hadn t received anything I received a generic apology saying they are extremely busy After trying to cancel the order for a refund I miraculously received a tracking number from Evri saying were expecting your parcel Bresser then said they can t refund and I will have to wait for the parcel to arrive refuse delivery and when they receive it back they can then process a refund Now 2 days later the parcel status still shows its waiting to be collected by Evri The customer service is shocking after spending hundreds of pounds I have zero hope of receiving the item before Xmas or a refund until well into the New Year If they were based in the UK I would drive to the office to sort this fiasco out

Christmas present did not arrive after 2 weeks
I ordered a christmas present two weeks ago with the promise of delivery in 3-5 days It has not arrived so far and the company are unable to tell me when it will arrive I have been emailing for a week and they have told me their courier company said most items will be delivered by Christmas Communications took a while with the company too and I had to chase a question on one occasion before I got an answer I query their choice of courier especially for expensive items of this kind given I live in London it s not hard to get deliveries here Very disappointing service I hope the product arrives in tact

Wish I could give no stars
Wish I could give no stars Ordered and paid for an item 2 weeks ago 26th Jan and received email advice that it had been collected by their carrier Evri on 28th Jan then heard nothing further Checked on Evri tracking who were expecting the item for some days On 03 Feb the tracking said it s a little bit delayed since when I ve had no further advice from anyone Bresser or Evri I ve tried to call Bresser on more than one occasion but couldn t be put through to either Sales Support or Accounts and have emailed receiving an automated response but no other reply Absolutely shocking service and I will be contacting my bank to see if they can assist in reclaiming the cost back Safe to say I won t ever use them again

STAY AWAY IF YOU WANT TO STAY SANE
STAY AWAY IF YOU WANT TO STAY SANE What a nightmare Had two 5in1 weather stations they have been excellent for a few years They are both covered by the 5 year warranty One of which failed so contacted the uk division I was treated like an idiot given contradictory information and lied to throughout They made it extremely hard to get the problem sorted The first resolution after doing all the cleaning and waiting days to see if it worked even though I always keep them clean was to replace the base and sensor My sensor is not made anymore and the newer internals are not compatible with the older units was later told they do work together but they don t These arrived in what looked like a second hand box with hand written information on it different colour base unit and the stand was missing from the base unit When I set it up as per instructions the base unit had the whole mid section faded and the wind directions were pixelated Was told it was one of they re sent back from Amazon stock and didn t test it before sending out Trying to get this resolved came another bout of stress inducing conversations and trying to make me feel like I was wrong again Eventually got another base station in the right colour with a stand that works This is a short version of events Kerin is the main person I conversed with but either Kerin has a split personality or there s a team that just sign it off as Kerin to make it seem more personal I also had contact with Gillian who seemed a bit more human but I couldn t tell you who is who or what they are playing at I also asked if I could maybe upgrade using the warranty replacement as part payment They offered a couple of options They gave a price of 25 99 more than they are selling the same thing on eBay for for the one I was interested in I declined To summarise The products have been great for years exactly what I wanted Get to a warranty claim and that s a whole new situation you find yourself in They made what should ve been a pretty easy warranty claim into an ordeal that lasted weeks Really nasty people to deal with At some points you think all is going well and then you get hit over the head with their bullying tactics contradictions and trying to make you feel very small and stupid Follow up to extremely belated review feedback I love the fact that this has taken 9 months for you to formulate a response Draw your own conclusion to this Full of twisted half truths that are missing many points These guys are doing what they do best Twisting truths and manipulating the situation Nothing out of warranty claimed for They tried to rip me off by asking for more money as a part exchange on a newer upgrade instead of a replacement like for like unit than they sell them for I was interested as it made sense to get a newer version but when I checked prices I was astounded at they re offer The whole thing could have been handled quickly and professionally but I m not sure they know or understand what any of those words mean Just be very very careful if you need a warranty repair or claim

BresserUk are selling poorly made chinese rubbish as high-end
What a nasty lying person this Mr Smith is of BresserUK if this is his real name Arrogant ignorant and a severe bully who looks down on the masses with an opening line of oh I am privately educated or think I am so I have the right and power to talk down to you and treat you like an imbecile and stupid If he has your money for a faulty item then you can get stuffed is his blatant attitude towards you Unit drops out constantly on the screen as in goes dark no warning Wind speed is non-existent even in gale force winds and this arrogant know-it-all states as I have proof in an email that the unit only records the wind once every so often so is missing the wind speeds of course wind speeds in a gale are constant below gale-force so you get a constant say 20MPH if a gale gusting at 50MPH and he states this will not be recorded or is recording when there is no wind While a gale is blowing trees are coming down roof tiles are flying off roofs but the unit in his mind misses this and records say 5-6MPH which is normal in his mind While of course the unit is recording everything live via wireless every few seconds and shows this on the screen but because the wind speed does not show as in not able to show correct wind speed he simply lies stating what I just said about how suddenly the unit only records this every so often so it will never show a correct wind speed in a gale this is how stupid ignorant and downright nasty this owner of the company really is We have bought another one to replace this and even now the BresserUK owner is sticking his fingers up at us and trying to tell us there is nothing wrong with his unit AFTER sending him photographic proof of faulty and false readings he still denies anything is wrong This is serious and people like this should not be allowed to be in business so they can rip-off the masses with impunity
