Worst Experience - Please Don t Go

This was one of the worst experiences I have ever had Went down and looked at a Mazda CX-5 2016 plate fell in love and bought it That was the easy part After 10 days of owning the car the vehicle system malfunction came up A few minutes after that the engine and oil light came on and it went into limp mode I was 3 minutes away from my house As soon as I pulled onto the drive the engine died Called Car Motion to explain what happened and they came and recovered the car within the hour Called same day to say I am rejecting the car due to it breaking down I have the right to under the consumer act 2015 Was instructed to email Mark Dunstan MD of the company to say I am rejecting the vehicle and wanting a full refund - which I had done After over a week of emailing and calling every day asking for Mark I received a call to say that they had fixed the car and when am I wanting to pick it up Explained we have rejected the car and waiting for the refund She said to email her my bank details and she will sort it out After threating court proceedings of over 2 weeks of no communication by Mark we finally get a refund Best part they put my car back up for sale before I was issued a refund Response to Mark s comment BelowI emailed and called the same day the vehicle was collect and subsequently emailed every 24hours after that and received no response until threating small claims court Of which we have proof Mark is very quick to respond to reviews on Trustpilot however was not quick to respond to my emails Mark - you had many emails from myself and had my bank details but did not contact until the Friday before you issued the refund when I emailed to say I was filling for small claims court on the following Monday At which point you replied this was the first reply we ever received from you in the whole 2 weeks to ask how I paid and for my bank details

DO NOT BUY FROM HERE

I purchased a van in March 2021 and as soon as I got it onto the motorway I knew there was a problem with the gear bearings Initially I thought the customer service was excellent as they arranged to collect the van to fix the issue I was then left without the van for almost a month and left with a courtesy car which was leaking brake fluid I had to take it to a garage myself to have this looked at and extremely worn tyres The van was returned mid April but a month later found another issue with the transmission but was assured this was a fault with the new slave cylinder and it just needed bleeding which my local garage carried out under the permission of carmotion A few weeks later this problem reoccurred and again with the permission of the dealership I took it to a local garage to have the slave cylinder replaced At this time the garage noticed the flywheel was worn and not serviceable and recommended a new part and with it a new clutch This came at a personal cost of over 1200 Prior to the work carmotion had agreed to pay for the Slave cylinder and labour total 550 which almost 2 months later I have not been paid back Additionally I believe the fault with the flywheel to have been present from purchase and was ignored by carmotion Several emails have been ignored over the past two months and I have yet to be paid the money they had already agreed to pay me My biggest regret was not returning the van immediately I would completely avoid buying anything from this company as it seems they deal in quite frankly dangerous vehicles that are not road worthy They are dishonest and untrustworthy

Where to start The best advice I could give you is check every detail on the car before you leave the forecourt Couple of days after I purchased my vehicle I noticed the driver s side heated seat wasn t working I phoned carmotion and spoke to Lorraine who is the worst receptionist I have ever spoken with after losing my phone number on several occasions and claiming to have written it down wrong I finally managed to get it booked in for repair After replacing the heat pad for the seat they gave it back to me without checking it was working It wasn t So had to take it back a week later after and leave it with them I finally have my car back after 3 weeks just to fix a heated seat bear this in mind Now today when I went to go in the boot I have noticed that s they have snapped the cord for the parcel shelf and not replaced it with the right one or bothered even tell me The cord they have put in is too short and does not even reach to the hold point on the boot so my parcel shelf is hanging down on one side I was traveling from Manchester to Rotherham for this can so you can imagine the inconvenience 41 miles there are 41 miles back twice 164 miles and 9 hours of my time gone I know it s a small detail just a heated seat but when you re paying 6 200 for a car you expected to be right So please check everything before you leave thanks dean

Although the salesmanship service at this dealership is excellent the after sales customer service is extremely poor

My circumstances changed week after collecting my car and the garage completely refused to help and take the car back Not impressed at all

What a shambles

What a shambles Purchased a car from Carmotion which had a fault during the test drive was assured this would be fixed before I collected the car but it wasn t 4 further trips back to the garage to try get it sorted before finally trying to reject the car as not fit for purpose Was told to email Mark MD still no reply after 2 weeks Finance company was fobbed off by the sales team the only resolution was yet another bodged up job I m sure mark will reply to this review as it seems it is the only way to contact him I m sure his reply will go something along the lines of we did everything we could to help and I have not ignored you at any point as he replies to every other bad review I have since sold the car at a loss as I have NO confidence at all that it will work any longer than 2 weeks as it hasn t in the past They seem quick to take your money but once a problem arises they don t want to know Wouldn t recommend at all based on my experience

This garage is a joke I bought a Mercedes cla 220 amg 4 weeks ago from them For 17 000 And the SD card for the sat nav was missing they promise me that they get the SD card for me in next few days it s been 4 weeks now and I still not had the SD card I have phone Paul a few time and have been messed about today I called to find out what s going on and I got transferred to another department we re a lady answered the phone she was very rude and when I told her I am going to leave a bad review due the way I have been treated she said to me if I do that she not going to give me the SD card for sat nav this garage a joke they were very friendly taking my 17 000 pound for the car after that they did not want to know who I am this garage is not a good garage don t believe what they say to you stay away from this garage I never buy off this garage again they bloody jokers Update That does not mean that the staff at service are allowed be rude to the customer and also say that I am not getting the SD card you need to sort your staff out

I purchased a mondeo from these people

I purchased a mondeo from these people in march this year and I ve had to have both rear shockers replace and brackets and the clutch and dual mass flywheel my advice is dont even go there

Bought a car from here and had nothing

Bought a car from here and had nothing but problems with it since i got it home The head gasket on the car had blown I made car motion aware of this and they didn t want to know as they already had the money they wanted I had to get the car crushed as it was DANGEROUS and should never have been sold the way it was The head gasket blowing was just one fault on the car as there was many but this was the main issue

Very poor

Still waiting on a response from my complaint I put in 5 days ago I finally received a response after this review went in All I can say about them is customer service and communication with the customers is terrible We received so many lies about what was happening with our car and when we would receive it The car itself is fine but the ordeal we went through to get it was NOT acceptable Would never buy a car from them again
