Good service good car Couple of issues

Firstly the car So far so good Only had the car one week and all seems well Running nicely and on a 200 mile round trip to Coventry the car never missed a beat Secondly the service Mike was a real gent and there was never any pressure sales techniques Was given a good PX deal on my car Dropped a star as I called the day prior to pick up to discuss an earlier pick up time As with many other reviewers Was told that I d be called back but it never happened Improve on the communication and it d be a five star review all the way Update Well I ve had the car three weeks now and a couple of problems have come up Firstly the car past an MOT but with the recent rain I noticed that the wipers weren t clearing the windscreen Also the rear wiper screeched like hell when it kicked in 46 and a full set of wipers later and this is resolved Secondly the rear driver s side wheel got a nail in it that required a new tyre The locking wheel nut was over tightened and when attempting to remove the wheel nut tool broke due to the over tightening Cost a further 90 to have the nuts professionally removed I d have expected these two issues to have been picked up by the dealer but sadly no Because I m almost 150 down having to sort out these issues and I can t take off half a star I m going to have to take off another star

Generally good service just let down at the last post

I was originally dealing with Gary one of the showroom salesman who dealt with me throughout the period of buying my car Carmotion were excellent in terms of getting everything sorted on the car which needed amending and getting the car ready for collection However I felt extremely disappointed that on the day that was arranged to collect the vehicle that Gary had booked the day off the day previous leaving me with no option to get the vehicle that day which I needed to get the car that day for work etc However Nick the showroom manager did everything he could to ensure that the sale of the car could go through and get everything sorted which Gary should ve done despite having a large amount of work on himself which I can only thank him for sorting everything so quickly to ensure that I was still able to collect the vehicle that day Overall the general customer service of Carmotion was good however I was extremely let down by Gary at last minute without warning

Ok but could have been better if they had pride in their work

I don t like giving companies less than 5 stars but feel I need to get my points across to help their future handovers Being in the automotive industry this is my personal opinion I purchased a car over the phone from car motion with a 10 hour round trip to collect Wanted to collect the vehicle on a specific date which was 48 hours after purchase but was rejected due to salesmans day off No other salesman was allowed to handover the car Arrived to collect the car Car was in worse shape than expected Interior parts broken5 miles fuel remainingTyres with 43 psi recommended psi of 32These things I can live with due to the mileage and price but I think the dealership should take pride in their cars and have common courtesy to take the fuel light off My main problem was the rear discs and pads had very little life in them Bear in mind this car had went through an mot and safety inspection with no advisories and no inspection remarks The it is what it is mentality didn t go down well with me Brakes were seized on the car and had to roll to car back and forward to release so I could leave I am contemplating taking the car for independent inspection as I feel its not been checked Overall it is what it is purchased a car competitively priced with high mileage just feel the dealership and salesman could give the customers a better experience Things for dealership to think about Take pride in your cars Would you be happy with the car if it was your purchase Be more flexible in customers needs Ask employees to have some enthusiasm and enjoy their work Would I buy from here again Probably but I would view the car before handing over any cash Personal shout out to Brook he wasn t my salesman but bent over backwards to try help me out I feel if I had first contact with him the outcome would have been different

I have drove from doncaster to your

I have drove from doncaster to your garage sat they told me to come get my repairs done on monday i was told sales cant book me in so come back tomorrow i did the guy said it was fixed went to work that night and the problem i had was still there this code 89 comes up on my screen so now i dont know what to do can you help

Changed from 5 to 3 stars Bought afew cars from here in the past

Bought afew cars from here in the past years from car motion 5 star service never any problems But now changed my review to 3 star our sale advisor was Gernell very helpful alway kept us updated properly because he wanted a sale as soon as the money was exchange he never replied to my emails he was ment to get a replacement Audi badge but never kept his promise showed us a verity of cars as we was unsure what to get we picked up our new Audi today easy smooth transaction explained everything and taxed the car for us Felt under pressure to leave a review as Garnell wanted me left a review while I was in the office and signing paperwork he also asked for a higher deposit then advised

the sales man ian was grate i drove 80

the sales man ian was grate i drove 80 miles just got there 15 minuets before they closed he showed me and my family round the car let us test drive it and answerd all my questions he staid over about 30 40 minuets he is a very good man and made us feel welcome

Bought a Volvo V40-price was OK

Bought a Volvo V40-price was OK compared to other cars on the net Have had the car checked by a Volvo specialist and it looks like a good buy May need a track rod end at the next MOT otherwise the car is running well Steve the salesman was professional as was Dave the company cat Thank you

After a shakey start good customer service

Initially I experienced poor service from the sales staff The person I was dealing with was off ill on handover so it was a bit of a mess The car after a week or so had some faults again not great However working in particular with Adrian and Lorraine who did and continue doing a great job in customer services these problems have hopefully been ironed out and all now seems good So The management have also acknowledged the issues well and have rectified my initial experience really well

Honest and certainly not pushy sales

At car motion we found the sales man to be honest open and not pushy which is a pleasant change at a car garage The vehicle was a car that we hadn t considered and the sales man gave us the option along with several vehicles we had seen on the website for my needs and price we felt that it was the car for us and are very pleased with it

A good deal however

A good deal however I pointed out all 4 tyres were borderline and needed to be replaced only replaced 2 as others were just and I mean just over 2 5 carmotion s limit so not impressed with that Wipers I had to change as worn and valet could have been better as glass had smears and water stains Overall I m pleased with the car but with the points above only get 4 stars
