Hi guys this IS NOT a review about this company but a volunteer business here in popstar land NZ The company is citizens advice bureau NZ a non profit company that advises people over public and civil problems here in NZ Around two months ago i used there website chat function to talk to a CAB volunteer about a problem i am having with a social security govt dept here in NZ The volunteer then heard about my problem through chat and I was advised to go back and talk to the dept I am having problems with to talk the problem through with them This would be the most ill advised info anyone could give about this NZ dept as they MSD most certainly do not talk things through at this stage as the volunteer had alluded too The volunteer should have explained that at this stage the client me would be put in a power vaccum as the CAB advice at this stage was ill advised Lastly the volunteer should have recommended a adequate skilled advocate or lawyer in this specialised area We are glad to learn this not through CAB at the next phase will be fairer CAB NZ has multitudes of online info if you have the patience to read through there online chat advice is not the best

We have no bureau in our local area so called another area with a women that huffed the whole time telling me I need to go to my area and kept telling me where I lived I know where I live but the area is no longer open so you are stuck I m fed up with rude people and no help

This institution is useless
This institution same as most UK s so called free public services is absolutely useless They just collect personal data and after they pretend to help by giving you some zero value printed forms for you to fill in and share your personal details with even more useless institutions Why these organisations exist Waste of money and time for tax payers

Visited King s Lynn C A B on two occasions Very disappointed with help they were supposed to give I was told to keep ringing the government department I was trying to contact in my own time-I thought the C A B staff would carry more clout and that is why I visited them in the first place Plus the fact when you ring regarding making an appointment you can never speak to anyone-you just get sidetracked Will not bother again a waste of time travelling to see them

What went right this time they don t even answer the phone Is there really any help out there for the people or are the government just pretending there is but make it that difficult to source that people quite literally give up Disgraceful

My review is for Wakefield branch The staff is rood and rushed They do nothing at all to help people find work despite their website saying otherwise Visited them 3 times with different issues Never again They just wasted my time time and frustrated my disabled wife Why are these people paid This organisation is same as all the UK s gov institutions Absolutely all No exceptions What a joke

Liars Available for Free
I had a liar from the Law Society deliberately misinform me about the matter I had contacted them about To compound this they then informed me that the Illegal Ombudsman would be able to assist with a query about a will when they should have known that they do not deal with wills I appreciate that they are a charity but this does not give them free licence to be liars

BAD FOLLOW-UP COMMUNICATION AND NO ANSWER ON PHONE LINES
I called on March 19th actually got an answer after 34mins The lady was VERY helpful She said they will refer me for an appointment and someone would call me back within the next couple of days from a withheld number Someone actually called me back THE NEXT DAY 20th March GREAT but I was at work so couldn t talk long She had an appointment booked for me some time in April a couple of weeks away She asked if I d like the details now OR should she text the details to me I said text please due to me being at work thank you She was very helpful too BUT it is now 26th March and NO TEXT i NEED TO KNOW WHEN MY APPOINTMENT IS IT TAKES WAY TOO LONG FOR CAB TO ANSWER PHONES TO THEN ALSO NOT SEND DETAILS OF PEOPLE S APPOINTMENTS - to either my EMAIL or TEXT like I specified in the initial call i made I have been calling this company for days on and off Then today for hours after work from 1 25pm to 3 34pm I was on hold for total 3hrs 15mins only to be automatically cut off at around 4 05pm then again at 5pm You have to ring for at least 30 40mins before you get an answer and EVEN THEN getting an answer is not guaranteed

Just another box ticking load of nonsense a hour on phone waiting to be returned to switchboard evertmyt7me I ve tryied to get advice of this number I m in a que all day feel like bill Murray groundhogday
