AI Review Summary Based on 34 reviews

Customer reviews for Code-camp reveal a starkly polarized experience, with many praising the educational content while others allege fraudulent practices. Positive reviewers consistently highlight the high quality and comprehensiveness of the coding courses, covering topics like web design, JavaScript algorithms, APIs, and data visualization. The hands-on projects and practical exercises are frequently commended for making learning effective and engaging. Many users find the instructors helpful and the platform's interactive learning environment to be a significant benefit. Customer support is also praised by several reviewers for being responsive and helpful, particularly for new learners. However, a significant number of reviews vehemently accuse the company of being a scam, involving unauthorized subscription charges. These complaints describe being baited by low-cost offers or fake surveys, only to find themselves enrolled in recurring monthly payments without consent. Victims report having to cancel bank cards and dispute transactions to recover funds, alleging the company uses misleading techniques. The stark contrast suggests that while the educational product may be legitimate for some, the acquisition and billing practices are viewed as predatory and fraudulent by others. Overall satisfaction is therefore deeply divided, entirely dependent on whether a customer's experience was with the learning platform or with the disputed billing system.

bait and subscription online scam

My retired wife had money taken from her account claiming she had signed up to do a computer programming course It didn t happen she would struggle to fit this around her astronaut training Companies like this use misleading techniques typically enticing people with a low-cost purchase and the subscription signup happens without people being made aware This is a common tactic amongst scammers It s called a bait and subscription scam The company use fake reviews and bluff it out for a period claiming to be legitimate until enough people flag them You may need to point your bank to reviews like this to get some resolution
