Terrible customer experience

We bought a used 2018 dacia sandero last September We had a issue when the starter motor went in the car The car was covered by a 3rd party warranty so when we contacted them the car was sent to a mechanic and the issue was fixed but the mechanic noticed that the ignition switch was gone also so we went through the process of fixing this That was mid May I m writing this review 6 weeks later as the car is still sat in the mechanics After multiple attempts to communicate with the mechanic warranty company and dacia themselves nobody can provide us with a date to when the part will eventually reach the mechanic and get us back on the road 6 weeks and counting is extremely long time to be without transport especially when they cant give us any idea where the part is or how much longer it will be My suggestion would be to steer clear of dacia and there poor customer service

Shocked Disappointed by Dacia lack of reciprocated loyalty

Had major difficulty with a Duster with ONLY 22 500 on the odometer Out of warantee I agree but the part in question usually lasts 100 000- 150 000 in most vehicles and brands They requested info info and more info Then declined any help or intervention based on info provided close to our initial contact - kept us hanging on even though decision already obviously made Would not recognise detailed exemplary service history as not EVERY SERVICE from a Dacia main dealer but other maindealer involved We have been very loyal to Renault Dacia brand in the past NO LONGER as not reciprocated Many years of loyalty future sales to multi car family lost by a single decision A vehicle is only as good as its support structure and customer care service Both lacking with Dacia here Not too convincing very disappointed - by both Dacia and the Dacia dealer involved in dragging things out and being evasive with us Expected better service and more upfront dealings tbh A bargain brand BUT hope and pray that nothing goes wrong - because you will pay handsomely for it if it does We have been badly caught out A cheap fix for Dacia has caused us so much heartache and expense and inconvenience We should have heeded other reviewers with similar experiences An expensive lesson

2019 Duster 65k kilometers on the clock

2019 Duster 65k kilometers on the clock This is my second duster Third visit to the garage in the last two years But the bad part is the first visit it needed a sensor which had to be ordered from France one and a half weeks off the road This time it need another sensor but there is not one in France and they cant give a date for delivery to Ireland Hopefully before the end of November which will mean two and a half months off the the road for something which cost about 200euro Spare parts is a joke I will not be buying another one Think carefully before you buy one
