Please be aware We ordered a sofa Luca in January with delivery time 9-15 weeks It was strange to accept 6 weeks gap but we were happywith the delivery in May We asked several time to be reassured about the delivery time in May and everyting was confirmed so we proceeded with the order In april the order was still no shipped so we contacted the company and they told us that everything was ok with the delivery confirmed for the 14th of May Beginning of May we asked to inform us about the delivery to organise removing the old sofa and they told us the sofa would be delayed of 2 weeks which put us in trouble because we were expecting for guests to sleep there Anyway we had a long conversation and the company offerd a good discount to convince us to keep the sofa telling that was a very good sofa with high standard materials The day of the delivery middle of June the delivery company arrived and assembled the sofa We noticed a poor quality of the material the legs a big round plastic legs similar to a cheap sofa bought in a superstore and it came in 2 pieces to be joined down trhough a mechanincal metal join and free on top the policy for the return is to keep the original package so we asked the delivery company to keep the package for us After they completed to assemble the sofa you are not allowed to open the boxes the went away We immediately realised that the company threw away the package instead to save them in case of return Beyond that we also realised that the 2 pieces didnt join propertly on top with a discontinuity of 4 5 cm We asked Deluxdeco to give us explanation and they told us to wait a week and everything would be ok the week was already passed but we waited another week and nothing happened The sofa had a clear fault in production due the poority of the materials We sent several pictures to demostrate this and we asked for the refund The company Deluxdeco didnt admnit the defect in the sofa and refused to refund us To be refund we had to send back the sofa in the original package and not used The sofa was used for 2 weeks and of course we dindt have the original package because threw away from the delivery company We tried several times to explain deluxdeco that this is not a good product and not a good customer service but they didnt change their position We would like to inform the customer that if you expect a bargain you will be disappointed These sofas costs discounted as a normal sofa bought in other superstores because the quality is the same and not better So is not worth it to wait for 6 months for a standard quality sold as a better quality Avoid it

We took delivery of our sofa in May 2019 The company proved themselves to be dishonest with their product descriptions untrustworthy in their communications and completely lacking integrity I was looking for a 100 leather sofa however on delivery i discovered their leather sofas are only about 40-50 real leather only the cushion tops headrest faces and arms tops are leather the balance is cheap vinyl that will wear and age differently as the sofa gets older and i say that with some authority as my family currently have 4 leather sofas between us and i have personally owned a further 2 Retrospectively i compared every other website that i could find the likes of DFS IKEA sofa world and many more and found that it was very CLEARLY stated when other materials were used however on the Delux Deco website you quite literally had to read through all the smallprint with a magnifying glass to find any reference We subsequently complained to Colin in customer services that their website was misleading and downright dishonest and a number of emails went back and forth Then in a phone call to me HE AGREED THAT THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE SOFA WAS INDEED INFERIOR however good news they had recently upgraded the design with a greater percentage of leather still not 100 though and would i be prepared to accept an upgraded unit rather than accept a refund This telephone call occurred at a time in my life that I wouldn t wish on my worst enemy No not even our friend Colin My wife and I had lost our baby at birth less than 24hrs before and subsequently I nearly lost my wife when I spoke to Colin I was in the hospital and informed of this fact and that when the bottom drops out of your world the last thing you are interested in talking about is sofas I guess our friend Colin just saw this as a situation to take advantage of After agreeing a course of action I never heard anything else from Colin or Delux Deco again I subsequently sent a couple of emails asking them for an update on the situation but no reply My wife and I are rebuilding our lives slowly and arguing over sofas isn t on either of our radars in the near future So in summary A poor misleading website Discounted prices that arguably do not offer Value For Money let alone the full prices when compared to similar A company without principals that doesn t stand by it s word and exploited us at the weakest point of our lives I would have liked to give zero stars but unfortunately the option isn t available You pays your money you takes your choice

Confrontational obstructive and unreasonable
Very good if you re praising them shockingly confrontational and obstructive if there is a problem we took delivery of a 4 seater and 2 seater in December 2016 Since then a minimum of 3 call outs have been requested for the same issue which is creaking and squeaking of the 4 seater sofa Each time an engineer has come confirmed the issue and fixed it After some time the same issue resurfaces and we have repeated the process Recently we contacted Delux Deco to ask them to suggest a resolution as it is unreasonable to keep repeating the same process They admitted that the issue has repeatedly arisen but have requested proof beyond any shadow of a doubt Surely the fact an engineer has confirmed that there is an issue and the fact that the issue has arisen multiple times in the 2 years and 1 month since we took delivery should be sufficient After all it is DD who send the engineers They are arguing that it is because of usage but they conveniently forget that we have constantly reminded them that it is just my wife and I who live at the property both of us work full time and are away most weekends so usage is not the issue here To make things more ludicrous they want proof of usage Am I supposed to send them video footage of our living room over the past 2 years How does one provide proof of usage Even if we were using the sofa s all the time surely they should last more than the time period we have had it I m awaiting a response from them but based on the tones of their previous emails I don t expect any solution or resolution despite requesting this UPDATE Their response to requesting a resolution or an engineer under their stated 5 year warranty is Unfortunately and after careful consideration your claim is denied So it looks like they won t even honour their supposed 5 year warranty Very unprofessional UPDATE in response to DD response to this review Can you advise what form of proof you will accept A video of the creaking Can you also forward the technicians report so we can verify your ludicrous claims of no fault being present ourselves If no fault was present then what did the technician fix on 3 occassions Why have Homeserve confirmed there were faults We will put in a freedom of information request so you can t object to forwarding it like you did on the phone Can you stop falsely claiming you are regulated by the Furniture Ombudsman as claimed on a previous thread I have spoken to them and they have confirmed that you are NOT signed with them

We ordered a Base Leather 3 seater sofa
We ordered a Base Leather 3 seater sofa from Deluxe Deco in September 2015 We had visited the showroom and although they didn t have the specific model on show we were taken to look at a similar model We were given information regarding the differences and were told that the seat and back cushions were removable We were also told that some parts of the sofa were not real leather but a PVC that was matched to the leather and was generally only the rear and sides of the sofa As it was going to be against a wall that didn t bother us too much but there never was any formal confirmation of exactly how much of the sofa was NOT leather The sofa was delivered around early December and the first thing we noticed was that although the back cushions could be removed they are attached with Velcro the seat cushions were fully attached to the base We did query this with customer services whose customer service was very poor and they eventually responded to advise us that they had never told us that the seat cushions could be removed We have now had the sofa for just over 6 years We have looked after it extremely well We have cleaned it and treated it exactly how we were advised to do so We do not have children or pets that could potentially damage the sofa Yet for the last couple of years the state of the sofa has deteriorated so badly it s an embarrassment in our home Not only is it clear now that the majority of the sofa is NOT leather as can be evidenced by the state of the material and the fact that it is now a different colour to the parts that are leather the PVC has torn in several places and the seam stitching on one of the arms has also frayed where leather meets PVC and this isn t even a part of the sofa that is sat on The leather itself is still in extremely good condition so it s such a shame the entire sofa was not leather We thought we had bought a good value piece of furniture Turns out that the saying if something seems too good to be true it probably is is correct I would wholeheartedly urge anyone considering a purchase to quickly think again before they part with their hard earned cash We have now had to purchase another sofa something we shouldn t have even had to consider for quite some years to come Would have liked to have included pictures of the damage but do not appear to be able to

DON T EVER BUY FROM THIS COMPANY I M STILL AWAITING A REFUND
I really don t know where to start with this The sofa arrived It was too large We informed them about this and then realised that their returns policy mentioned that the sofa needed to be repacked by us to look as good as new The boxes that were given to us were already damp ripped and covered in mould Certainly not new I have all photos of every process Anyway after a phone call with Colin a manager I soon realised that the company was clearly the most unprofessional of its kind Colin goaded me after I said that I would let my solicitor deal with him He soon changed his tune though after a letter from trading standards arrived for him We wrapped the sofa in industrial cling film and after 2 5 weeks people came to pick the sofa up Its now over 1 5 months and I have still not received my refund The company have lied several times using excuses like Our returns man has had some time off and we promise we ll process the refund this friday They are quite simply the worst and most dishonest company I have ever dealt with and I would beg anyone to avoid them at all costs

Don t Bother - Company has no intention of honouring your purchase
17 weeks ago I put an order into Delux deco for an entertainment unit which the company wanted full payment and a promise of delivery within 9 to 15 weeks It has now been 18 weeks and I have not received anything including an explanation from customer services I have logged two online tickets and phoned on 5 different occasions however I have only got as far as the receptionist who repeatedly tells me no one from customer services is available and that someone will get back to me urgently This company seems to have no intention of honouring this sale and therefore don t even bother looking at their website

I wish I read the bad reviews before ordering
If only I read the bad reviews before ordering my sofa Ordered at the beginning of October promised pre Christmas delivery Called before Christmas to find out where my sofa was but was told this is a number for reception and they ll pass on the message to DeluxDeco Heard nothing Received an email telling me delivery would be made in January then February then later again in February When I had the cheek to complain I was meet with a rude email from Colin After having enough of the broken promises and poor customer service I requested a refund I was told this would talk 2 weeks It has been nearly a month now and I have yet to receive a refund I ve got a bad feeling I ll have to pursue this via the bank to get my money back Update I have received a refund from deluxdeco But I can see they have responded claiming my review is false If it was false trust pilot would not have verified it I supplied emails order numbers and screenshots to prove my order was genuine Since my complaint I can see more 1 star reviews from customers who have the same complaints as I do

My third review on a third rate
My third review on a third rate company with a second rate product Latest problem is the chrome plated cast feet on the sofa One has now cracked this has allowed the toe of the foot to dig in and put some nasty scratches in our oak flooring heaven knows how bad it would be if we were heavy people or had exuberant kids

Appalling Customer Service
We bought a Ikon White Walnut Floating Entertainment Unit from these guys When we took it out of the box one of the hinges was broken They sent new ones about 3 weeks later after we d had the unit installed which they advised us to do We employed an installer to put the the new hinges on but once fitted the pull down panel would not sit flush or even match up to the drawer on the other side We adjusted the hinges in every combination possible as requested but still couldn t get it to sit flush When we called customer services they told us we were making a mountain out of a mole hill and what did they want us to do about it offering no solution they advised us to take them to court I have never been spoken to so rudely by a company in all my life They were simply not interested in us once they had made the sale despite the product being faulty

Awful post purchase service
Nice furniture but you d better pray that you don t have an issue with anything as you ll then become embroiled in a spiral of doom as they do everything they can to wriggle out of being responsible Lovely reply from DD but sadly inaccurate They were informed of the issue right after it was fitted and then spent months not replying before suggesting fixes that the technician said could never work I accepted the repair offer and asked for the cost of removing and refitting the unit to be considered as the only reason it needed to be done was because there was an issue They agreed but then didn t like the quote - I said I d pick that cost up and based the review on the fact that this has taken 7 months to agree Now they withdraw the repair offer as me posting the review is a slap in the face
