Morso - you could do better
Purchased a Morso 1446 through an authorised dealer in the UK and within a year of fitting storage for a couple of years the cast iron top cracked at around 200c according to flue stat No problem I thought I m sure it s covered by a 10 year warranty and the paperwork I have that came with stove states this I contacted Morso UK who stated that it came with a three year warranty and supplied an image of warranty conditions which I have never seen before Contacted the supplier and they spoke to Morso and they stated the same in the meantime the part has gone up from 106 to 630 We have three Morso stoves and previously bought them for previous houses they were a quality product with excellent customer service I wanted to buy a Morso Forno pizza oven but I m having second thoughts BUYER BEWARE

Morso 4400 casting cracked
Morso 4400 casting cracked on both sides tried to claim against 10 year warranty and just told to go away and that it won t be honoured As usual a waste of space for a very expensive fire that barely lasted money better spent on a new fire from a better manufacturer instead would be my recommendation thats what we have done

Should have stopped by here before The oven had 2 stripes in the paint due to the packaging Since the distributor in Germany Ofenseite didn t make a move I contacted Morso in Denmark I was promised a tin of varnish but was first told that it was my own fault because I had to unpack the lid 2 at a time That is complete nonsense The streaks clearly came from the packaging I find it very questionable to blame the customer for the problem in the first place

I am very impressed indeed with Mors customer service I could not hope for better I had a problem with my balcony electric grill It was always short-circuiting my apartment electricity I contacted Keld Agerholm from Mors Jernst beri A Sand he was incredibly helpful We worked out that it was probably the element that needed replacement Even though the grill was outside warranty he sent a new element FREE OF CHARGE I attached it to the grill today and it works fine again What wonderful customer service The grill is magic by the way The best ever for a city apartment Top marks to Mors And a BIG thank you to Keld Very impressed Mike Carlsbergbyen Copenhagen
