booked van hire in Lourdes told on arrival no van for return journey - end of no interest in helping at all if you think that your booking confirmation reservation actually means that you will have a vehicle then think again To enterprise this doesn t mean they have to have a vehicle for you Also if you think that booking the vehicle you want on enterprise means that they will actually provide you with that vehicle then think again In fact you ll be lucky if they have any vehicles at all as I found out They then held onto my deposit for TWO WEEKS watch out for this - enterprise will charge the full deposit amount to your Credit Card other rental companies don t do this Enterprise then hold onto your deposit as long as they can because they are crooks

It all seemed to be going so well - we got an upgrade because the car we booked wasn t ready and the staff were friendly and helpful Then when we got home I discovered that they had not refunded my deposit in full I called the rental location they said they made a mistake and I would be refunded No refund shows up I call again and again and each time yes you will be getting a refund soon So I call central customer service no answer Try again and have to explain it all again They hopefully accidentally hang up on me Call again and the lady tells me that I need to email them to explain the problem At this point I m fuming and explain that it is not my job to chase around to sort out their mistake She says that it s the way their process works - well change your processes then I get put through to a manager who agrees to issue a refund and promises to email when it is confirmed So far no email I am still out of pocket and have now spent who knows how much money on phonecalls

Exceptional bad service was offered a car that pretty much fell apart after leaving the Enterprise Ferney-Voltaire shop but was asked to pay for repairs to damages We didn t cause stay away from this company or hire a mechanic to go over the car they give you before you leave the premises

I rented a car from Alamo in Nice with is part of the Enterprise group The waiting time at the airport was around an hour which isn t great I was told my rent car was in perfect condition but notice a few small scratches on collection so I photographed accordingly I then drove the car to my destination and parked off road in a locked parking space Returning the car to Enterprise Rent-A-Car Hyeres and had to leave the key in he drop off box as there was no one on the desk The car was dropped off in perfect condition Now I find that I have been charged over 200 for some damage and I can say that the car was return in exactly the same condition as picked it up No proof was sent and no explanation and so far I have not had any response from them except an auto reply I think this is some kind of rip off and that they have dishonestly taken my money Avoid this company

Corrupt company try and charge on my credit card after vehicle is returned for damage not caused by me The car provided on delivery looked like it had been banger racing They have offered no follow up communication of receipt asking detailing what they claim to be charging for Disputing the charge with my credit card company with all the evidence to stick back on these morons Avoid these bunch of dodgy cowboys at all cost

A car was rented for me from enterprise s Angouleme office on Saturday 30th March by AA European Breakdown I was assured when asked for a credit card that it would not be charged only to find they took 79 99 from me Despite numerous telephone calls and emails over the last two and a half months they have not responded as promised or refunded the money they took without my consent This is theft

Was charged 1500 for a scratch that was done by rocks on the road it s right at the base of the car where it meets the floor Staff did not believe us when we said we had no bumps or accident The scratch is nowhere near that amount of money it is general wear and tear and should not have counted as a bump by any means I ve filed a complaint but no one responded Do not use this company

Payment for alleged scratchIn connection with a holiday in Bordeaux we rented a car When we pick up the car at the railway station in Bordeaux the delivery lady made us aware of scratches on the left rear fender She took pictures and put them into their system Asked directly she said we didn t need to take pictures so we didn t Friday 30 8 We deliver the car at the agreed time at the airport where the reception claims there is a scratch on the rear left screen We were naturally fully aware of this as they themselves had drawn attention to it The reception requires payment for the scratch We refused to pay on the basis that the scratch was logged upon receipt at the railway station We receive demands for payment but refuse and they then withdraw DKK 12 000 from our accountNever again Enterprise Rent a Car

Two friends and I had to get from Vannes in France to La Rochelle after a Sailing trip Enterprise was not only the cheapest but when we asked for the best way to get from the Port to collect the car from their office depot near the Train Station the manager said the he would bring the car to us collect us with all of our luggage and sailing gear then drive us all back to complete the paperwork and we were on our way We were allocated a Citroen C5 Estate at no extra charge and I call that SERVICE Fuel tank was full and we topped it up again before returning it to the Enterprise location in La Rochelle Excellent
