Fantastic Food Customer Service I came across Essential Foods via the Allaboutdogfood co uk website I wanted a grain free food that ranks in the 90 bracket I used Orjen and Acana but wanted a UK produced food so tried Essential I have 7 dogs so order fairly regularly The introduction of the Working range and the partner scheme for high volume customer even for private individuals is fantastic and makes this high quality food extremely affordable In addition the Customer Service is the best I ever came across in any company I had difficulties with a delivery company no quibble another order was sent I forgot to add something to my order one phone call later and a payment link and it is added so no additional delivery fees Email or phone you get a real person right away who is more than helpful If you get Kevin you are lucky as he is an absolute star and nothing is too much of an ask Usually cant be bothered to do reviews but this company deserves my extra effort and time Can t recommend them highly enough

I came across this brand after doing a quality comparison on the old dog food we used allaboutdogfood co uk After submitted price and desired quality this came up tops - and we re really happy to have made the switch Not only does my dog love it but she is better for it The quality is noticeable just from the smell of the kibble Highly recommend

We made the switch to Essentials over a year ago and would not change excellent foods fast delivery personal service Our dog loves the kibbles and any treats we buy Great all round

So Impressed

We are now two months in after switching to Essential Foods and our 18 month old Golden Retriever is absolutely thriving on Essential Superior Living Her coat is beautifully soft and shiny her weight is perfect she is very fit and she absolutely loves it She has gone from a dog who was barely interested in her food at meal times to being really eager when it is time for her food Her energy levels throughout the day have also settled and the manic over-excited moments she used to have are happening far less She is generally a lot more calmer As someone who worked within the veterinary world for many years I am always careful with what I feed her It is somewhat of minefield to get through all of the jargon dog food companies use to mislead people into thinking that they are feeding quality foods Essential Foods do none of that and are providing an excellent quality of food at an amazing price with a great ethos If I could give more stars then I would

So glad I found them

I cannot recommend Essentials highly enough Our puppy Labrador is now a year old and was on this food immediately after weaning We did move to a different food when she was about 10 months old but you could see the deterioration in her after a few weeks About 2 months later we received an email from Essentials asking for some feedback as to why we stopped ordering The email was very polite and in no way pushy There was no targeted advertising just a simple request for feedback We decided to call the agent and talk our situation over as we were at this point looking for a new food The agent talked to us openly and asked what our dog was experiencing and made suggestions as to the type of food we might want to try including other brands There was no pressure to buy from them Honestly it was just like talking to a friend colleague We did end up moving back to Essentials and Millie is now thriving on the Estate Living food It actually smells amazing v tempted to try it myself She has gained a bit of weight which is what we were after as she was v thin Her stools also became much firmer and her wind also vastly reduced A sign of a proper dog food and not a mass produced product Buying from Essentials feels like discovering a hidden gem It s the kind of company you want to shout from the rooftops about but at the same time don t want to because they are your little secret Each order arrives maximum 2 days after order and did I mention FREE delivery The dogs are just as excited when the package comes as there s always a little surprise in there for them 55 for a 10kg bag of food of this quality is such an amazing deal especially considering the free delivery I could go on about how brilliant they are to deal with and how they make you feel really special but I think you ve probably gathered that already So glad I found them

My dogs love this British made too

I didn t want to feed raw I wanted to feed my German shepherd pups a high quality dry food I had tried a few other brands but I decided to swap to Essential after seeing it s high score on the allaboutdogfood website My dogs love it It s british made it s good quality and because of that the amount needed to be fed is less This makes this feed good value too

Another 5 weeks of Essential Contour

Another 5 weeks of Essential Contour and my dog has lost another 2kg - yay She looks great and you can see she has put muscle on her legs She was an obviously fat dog when we got her from the shelter but she just looks a bit chunky the excess weight made her look older as well and she looks like a different dog now She has lost 3 1kg so far another 4kg to go

I need to hide the bowl

My Staffordshire Bull Terrier absolutely loves the Essential Highland Living and Superior Living In addition to having a sensitive stomach and being a fart machine she also had issues with her nails splitting and cracking so I had to give her additional supplements in the past When I swithched her over from Royal Canin to this food I noticed a visible improvement and stopped having to give her supplements Her stomach and nails are doing much better and she always chomps down her food in seconds I can t recommend them enough
