FamilyNOW club A legal devious company that manages to get you to subscribe when you re least expecting it
I have no idea how I signed up to this subscription I went to my daughter s play and someone from the show handed me a A4 price of paper with a QR code This was for a digital program I scanned the code thinking it was perfectly safe 1st mistake as I was at a theatre with families and friends I went through a series of questions asking name age etc thinking it s a security check as there were children in the play It then asked me for 1p surcharge to prove my identity I have done this several times before for various things 2nd mistake I give up on the QR code program as the show started and I didn t want to miss it I then received an email buried deep in my spam folder welcoming me to the FamilyNow club and saying that it was a 2 day free trial and then 29 50 per month Off course I didn t see this email until they had took 29 50 I contacted them by email asking to cancel my subscription and return the money they had taken from me by devious means They said I had agreed to it all and they had broken no rules laws Whilst I am totally to blame for this as it was me that was to trusting at a time and a place where you think everything is safe etc these devious little parasites will stop at nothing to find ways of taking your money when you are least expecting it The irony of it is they have 29 51 of my hard earned cash through a legal devious means I have since been on the familynow club to see what it is They sell movies and shows that no one in their right mind is ever going to watch But why would they it s a legal front for conning people out of money

FamilyNow club taking money by deception STAY AWAY
Similar to another posted review I was targeted by this company by taking 29 50 monthly from my account I was at a theme park with my kids and scanned the QR code on my ticket as advised at entry to retrieve photos that were taken on the park rides A pop up then appeared on screen asking for 00 1p to subscribe to what I thought was the theme park s photo web page so I could retrieve my photos I was then asked for my name and date of birth to confirm who I was I have done this before with other companies so didn t think anything of it until today I was contacted by the fraud department of my bank to see if I had authorised this payment as it has came up as a red flag and possibly fraudulent company Luckily my bank has stopped the payment and have put the company under investigation I would have never given them my bank account details so no idea how they received them A very misleading and fraudulent company which will go to any lengths including deception to think you are dealing with the same company on the QR code the signing upto an unwanted monthly subscription I admit I am partly at fault for jumping in and subscribing but as I said very misleading as it came up on a theme park photograph site so a very sneaky a and devious way to unknowingly obtain money from the theme park customers and this is what these SCAMMERS do attract your attention and mislead you into giving your hard earned cash away Disgraceful and sickening behaviour from a registered company to deceive money any way they can from the public Total Parasites STAY AWAY Total

I feel I have been well truly conned
I feel I have been well truly conned and tricked into subscribing to this company just like others here have been I had bought a new projector and when going through the complex on-line set up procedure I was confronted with a screen from this company which prevented me from continuing the set-up until I agreed to pay them 1 penny I did agree to this because I presumed this was to verify that I had a google account if I needed to purchase any services later on It certainly wasn t clear that I had signed up for a 29 50 subscription which they have taken from my bank today I ve just reviewed their content all poor third rate videos costing more than twice as much as a Netflix subscription I pride myself that in the thirty years using the internet I ve never been scammed until now I feel so ashamed and annoyed that I have been legally conned out of nearly thirty pounds by a so called legitimate company money I can hardly afford But I have to hand it to them they ve set up an ingenious scam supported and aided by more trusted companies
