Standing desk

I ordered a low height standing desk and I m happy with it

If you are on the fence about this product you need fully embrace it best decision I have made

We are in the midst of a global pandemic and people are complaining that a company that is selling one of the most sought after home office items is experiencing minor delays due to unprecedented restrictions working conditions Some calm and understanding is needed I ordered my desk knowing that this would not be the smooth experience that I would be used to from a company and I m sure Fully would also like to be able to provide the same level of customer service as they had done before the pandemic but like everything else we have to accept that there is a new normal I placed my order and my desk was dispatched within the timeframe quoted when ordering Unfortunately either due to an order error by me an issue caused by my corporate PC s hatred of tracking cookies or perhaps a website error I was going to receive the wrong surge protector I contacted Fully immediately knowing that this would not be a priority issue as the desk and additional functional items in the order were correct The expected timeframe for a response was 3-5 days a bit longer than normal but still acceptable 3 days after my email I received a response from a great customer service agent called Jolien They advised me that when I received my order I should let them know what surge protector I received and if it was indeed incorrect they would replace it with the correct one I m happy to say although I received the incorrect surge protector the correct one is now on its way to me thanks to the great support I received Living in Ireland during the pandemic and at the start of 2021 post Brexit has meant issue with logistics are not uncommon as the UK was a land bridge between Ireland and the EU I am sure those in the UK will experience similar logistic issues across the board as they are no longer an EU country Unfortunately the courier only delivered part of my order on the due date The rest of the order was delivered over the following days This was most definitely a shipping issue as all boxes were time date stamped with the same time when handed from Fully to the courier I reminded myself that we are living through a global pandemic and Brexit and sent an email to Jolien Jolien who followed up with the courier even though this was not an issue created by Fully and was able to give me timeframes on the delivery of all my packages This was very helpful again and in my view above and beyond expectations Now I am standing at my desk wondering how on earth I lasted without it for so long The contoured bamboo desktop is gorgeous the structure is solid the cable management trays have hidden all my unsightly wires and the dual arms keep my screen and laptop raised at the perfect height that is easily adjustable leaving me with a lovely clean decluttered desktop If you are on the fence about this product you need fully embrace it it is one of the best decisions I have ever made A great product backed up by great service even in these difficult times

I purchased a Jarvis Desk with 60x27

I purchased a Jarvis Desk with 60x27 3 4 -thick natural color bamboo top indigo color frame memory control Based on the desktop size the frame was configured wide with long feet 3-stage lifting columns extended range controller At the time of my purchase all items were on a 15 sale and there was a 5 signup coupon so don t pay full price Items shipped out within 1-2bd and final box arrived about a week later via FedEx Ground two boxes of frame were cross country top was much closer The top box had major tears in the cardboard but inner stryrofoam around edges and plastic wrap seemed intact There were two scratches on the front side of the top looks like an M written against the edge I did not complain about this as I didn t think it would be worth the hassle of putting it together twice if a new top was sent I thought they packaged it very well so that is the carrier s fault anyway Jarvis frames are all of configureable size to match the desktop even if ordered together with a Fully branded top However this did not actually make the assembly much harder and I suspect it would be done for shipping space reasons even if only one top was supported Assembly does take some time but was not as bad as I expected after reading other reviews The instructions included in the box are slightly different than the PDF online which has written descriptions in addition to pictures and may be easier to follow However the steps themselves seemed to be the same Note that Bamboo tops use black machine screws and others use the silver ones all Fully tops come with metal machine screw threads regular wood screws are included for third-party tops but they fed the bags of screws into the machine wrong and the instructions on the bag were backwards about which to use They already knew about the issue and immediately confirmed that the manual not the bags were correct when I called The top itself actually came with two more bags of the black screws which had the same thread size but slightly different length and heads than the ones in the frame box I used the black ones in the frame box and had no issues It s definitely possible to assemble it yourself but you definitely need a second person to flip it over Trying to do that yourself would be very difficult due to the center of gravity and would but weight on parts that shouldn t have it I was very impressed with the overall stability and quality of the product While some reviews mention that a company called Jiefang in China makes the actual actuators electronics this is not like your typical Amazon Alibaba imported product All pieces were carefully cut and fit nicely together and they are backed by a 15-year warranty The packaging was very thoughtful and efficient The frame is made of a solid and heavy metal and the paint job is very well done The finish is smooth and consistent on all sides I really like the Indigo color which is blue with a hint of purple I also liked the look of the Sage color online but they don t seem to sell that color frame together with the bamboo top I guess you could order separately if you want that one There s also an option with just a clear coat that would be great for a modern space too The cables are really long so you will need to use the provided cable holders or a cable tray to organize them I didn t love the idea of sticking the cable holders onto the metal in case I change how I want them later but if you don t use them your legs will hit the dangling cords I did not observe any shaking or wiggling of the desk at a sitting height There is a bit of wiggle at max height but the desk still feels extremely solid even if you lean on the desktop The feet will slide on my vinyl floor but only if pushed hard Leaning on the desk top with your arms will not move it leaning against the side with your body would The feet also have leveling discs which can be replaced with casters The metal and rubber discs felt strong unlike other furniture I have bought which has cheap plastic discs that break off easily Overall I purchased this desk for two main reasons--being 6 3 I can t stand desks with anything that blocks your legs from going all the way under and past the desk and I was tired of trying to figure out what desk height was best This is a big professional and modern looking desk that meets those two essentials for me The standing feature was just an extra bonus for me I am definitely satisfied with the purchase

Great addition to my home office

After recent back surgery I decided to purchase a standing desk to help protect my back going forward After speaking with a few office furniture companies I eventually landed on the Fully com website I was able to get the size shape desk I wanted 2m X 1 6m l-shaped to replace my existing Ikea desk set-up for significantly cheaper than the other quotes I received The ordering process was very simple and the online chat support answered a few questions I had before I placed the order Desk and accessories shipped within 2 days of order but here is where the story was not as good TNT took 2 weeks to ship the desk from Belgium to Ireland after it seems to bounce the packages back and forth from Belgium to Holland and France The packaging on the main desktop was slightly damaged but no damage whatsoever to the desktop Onto the desk itself I cannot rate this desk highly enough Very solid build quality The total weight of the 2 boxes containing the desk frame was almost 80Kg Assembly instructions contained in the box are very easy to follow and the desk can very easily be built by 1 person however with the l-shaped desks I would advise at least 1 other person to help turn it upright and place it into position Don t make the mistake I made ensure that you have plenty of room to turn the desk upright I had to tweak the final assembly due to a radiator being in the way The operation of the desk is very smooth and quiet You get a bare ripple on the surface of a cup of coffee when the desk is raising or lowering The additional bracing on the l-shaped desk makes the desk very sturdy and also acts as a nice footrest Due to some of the power bricks I have for my devices I purchased the cable management trays instead of the wire management trays 3 of these trays will fit across the entire width of the 2m desk and for me hide all of my cables and power bricks perfectly I had purchased an additional tray but as this was not needed I returned it and obtained a full refund Speaking with online support this process was very simple The only thing I would say is that a few more adhesive cable mounts would be handy for me 10 were not enough I would definitely recommend the Fully com desk range to anyone considering purchasing a standing desk
