Very poor customer service

Very poor customer service Had accident on 11th nov 23 still not paid out Very disappointing with attitude have no choice but to report to financial ombudsman as vehicle written off and disposed to salvage agency and i am still paying car instalments for a car that i no longer have Very poor service

Absolute disaster of a company

What can i say about this company I have had dealings with may law firms but these must be by far the worse i have ever had to deal with Extremely poor customer service extreme lack of communication and next to no updates You can leave messages on the VM but they never reply The case handler i had very rarely replied to any email asking for updatesThe lack of empathy for peoples situations goes beyond words and all you get is a final email no call or communication to the reasons or rationale behind what they say This was an incident that was clearly no fault of my own and i can certainly confirm that i will never recommend these to anyone

Poor customer service

Poor customer service lack of communication and update Slow response to updates to third party who work along side them for example local independent who s done the assessment and are waiting for approval The lack of empathy and understanding of how certain insurance work This was also a none fault claim that they have made a shambles Would never recommend

This is one of the worst service I ever had in the past 60 years

This is one of the worst service experiences I had in 60 years As a lawyer for 40 years I figured that I should be aware of their tactics and insurance schemes Here it goes After 3 years of running after Home Depot for the replacement of a defective Patio Door they finally agreed to replace it Another 6 months later while water and cold had been coming to my house for the past 3 years they managed while installing it they managed to damage my house The installer said to me to fix it myself Stunned I sent Home Depot some pictures and video of the damages and explained what was the damages To my surprise I received a call from Gallagher Bassett s representative saying they were representing Home Depot in a claim that she did not know anything about it and did not have any information either I simply invited her to stop wasting my time and call back Home Depot to gather the information instead of wasting my time with questions that had already been answered They insulted me by saying that the responsibility was on me to prove my case and told me Good Luck you can t sue us That s Home Depot s problem I guess we ll see but for now if you can you should stay away from them

I got hit with one of the fire and rescue driver who use this company it took 3 months to pay out very little money worse insurance company ever Don t understand how Brighton and hove fire services use this company

Terrible Company

I have never had such a terrible experience with an insurance company as this I was hit by a car insured by this company and was ignored by Gallagher Bassett for almost a month as I tried to contact them to get my unsafe car in for repairs Once I finally did they used third party representatives so something that should have been done quickly took up to two weeks They eventually totaled out my vehicle two months after the accident and over a month later I still have not received the money from the company They only send checks and do not do any form of direct deposit and have tried to send me things twice but sent it to the wrong address both times despite my correct address being on every report It has been 3 months since this accident and I am still trying to get the money from this company This company does not care about anything but their own money and have put me into a state of financial crisis because of this accident and their borderline refusal to give me the money for my totaled vehicle

Disgraceful company

Disgraceful company How on earth Derbyshire Constabulary continue to use them is beyond me They are evasive unresponsive and quite possibly the most unprofessional company I have ever had the misfortune to deal with My advise is to avoid any dealings with them if you possibly can

Evasive and unhelpful company

Very keen to sell policies but evasive when it comes to paying out They ask for banking details by phone but they contrive to make it impossible to get through by declining to provde the staff they need to respond Sending digital details securely is so easy - but this suspicious company won t do that We may do an item on the BBC about all this

This company will not improve

This company will not improve poor customer service and lack of communication Worst experience ever no call back no email return just crickets They pay any given day and will not work with you 1st call was I m here to help you whatever you need let me know which turned into screw you I will not recommend this Insurance company STAY AWAY IF YOU CAN

Dreadful company including Transport for London

Not even worthy of one star My husband had an accident on the underground station in London in August last year His claim was based on the escalator malfunctioning which caused a pile up of people on the escalator until the emergency stop was activated His clothing claim and dressings to wounds were margininally over 110 After 8 months his wounds are just healing with an additional trauma injury to his shoulder which needs regular physio He completed a claim form and provided two independent witnesses However Gallagher Bassett and TfL deemed it unnecessary to contact witnesses and his GP They have now concluded that the escalator did not malfunction and is regularly serviced Contrary to what the station master said at the scene Still waiting for CCTV and other evidence on that day This company are inept of conducting a fair investigation Again same scenario as the Post Office Totally in denial that their equipment can falter in any way Shameful conclusion
