Absolutely shocking service Raqeeya would ignore emails for days sometimes a week at a time Completely uncontactable by phone No chain either side of our transaction and it still took 5 and 1 2 months to complete through no fault of our own or the sellers Sellers almost pulled out due to lack of communication from Raqeeya Would never recommend this company to anyone in hindsight I would have payed the extra 100 and gone with another company The quote changed at the end of the process as well we ended up having to query and challenge but still ended up paying more than quoted Completely shocking service from start to finish which just added to the stress of buying our first house STAY AWAY

Getting in touch with my solicitor has been nearly impossible I ve called multiple times a day 28 times in the last 13 days and this has been going on for weeks I ve managed to get through just twice only to be promised a callback that never came Every time I speak to the receptionist I m told my solicitor is either unavailable or in a meeting Despite assurances that I ll be able to contact her next time the same excuses are repeated over and over I no longer trust the information I m given as none of their promises get fulfilled It feels like I m being pushed to the bottom of their priority list I m now considering changing solicitors although retrieving the completed checks will be a nightmare I will update my review if this communication issue is resolved promptly Edit Case details as requested 110538 001Reviews don t allow posting personal contact information but I trust you can find it from the case number

Absolutely useless property solicitors I wonder if they are on the same planet Seriously if you re selling your property look for another conveyancing solicitor From start to finish a complete circus the right hand doesn t know what the left hand is doing I m still awaiting for the completion email along with the invoice they ve taken the money and the property sold in June yet completed on the 28th November

I would definitely NOT recommend these as conveyancers After numerous emails non of which were descriptive and 4 weeks down the line i find out from my estate agent that they are no longer working on my behalf not even a word from GD Legal themselves about the situation so obviously would have left me hanging about for another 4 weeks probably without me knowing Very slow response and not communicative at all i shall not be ever using again As for fixed prices they seem to bump the price up at every opportunity Elite Law far better

This company rarely answers the phone or emails either to other solicitors or their own clients They rarely provided updates They were generally very very slow to provide services but charged heavily for every extra not detailed in the original agreement

Do not use this company - house sale nearly fell through they shrugged it off We got assigned Tawana Zendera - absolutely miles off it Asking us to sign forms twice even three times When we needed her would never answer the phone or update us - communication was seriously lacking Emailed us 1 day before the Christmas break to tell us that they won t be proceeding with the sale as it was too complex house sale nearly fell through By the way this was sent over email - not even a courtesy phone call We came back in January this year changed solicitors would you believe it we were moved into our new home in 3 weeks Absolutely shocking service Do not recommend

I don t sell many houses but next time I do I won t be using GD Legal At the start the communication was frequent and fast but almost 7 months later from offer a chain free flat sale has still not gone through They don t answer the phone and take several days to reply to emails if they reply at all Communication from Tulsi was terse and technical with a lack of customer service or helpful advice I could handle that but many others would not Every minor step of what I would regard as 30 minutes of work takes about a week I am hoping my sale completes but not confident it will Every month that goes by I am having to pay mortgage and council tax on an empty flat So while they may have seemed cheaper to begin with take those possible costs into account when you pick your conveyancer

Do not use if you care when you move Complete lack of communication the app is useless and after months we still have no idea when we ll be moving Chain free both sides and months into the process they have only just applied for the searches Pay a little bit more to get proper legal services who know what they are doing

If you are assigned James Pickering avoid like the plague Awful communication incorrect names and prices in most official documents he sent through for signing which we still haven t received the correct versions of despite completing a month ago and chasing up 4 times and made so many errors which then took weeks to correct We were incredibly unhappy with the service However the person that covered James on his week of annual leave Nafees was excellent so I think we just had bad luck with who we were assigned

Begrudge even giving this solicitors 1 star Literally zero communication delayed responses and basically zero getting done I m certainly not one to post bad reviews but after endless emails and phone calls which are a waste of time nothing seems to get done It s always us chasing for answers I feel without anyone constantly pushing them I wonder if anything would actually get done I m fully aware house sales take time and delays are expected which is part and parcel of being in a house chain but I m not the only one who has this opinion Nothing bitter just an honest review of my experience
