Receiving money is a hassle

Too much regulatory hurdles received money from family for some personal business and it had to be returned because I did not have documents to back up why I received the money what documents do I need to receive money from family I bet they would have asked for screenshots of our conversations even though the money is less than 5 of my grey USD card annual spend There are smarter ways to vet your customers without chipping their dignity away Perhaps Grey is only for freelancers and not for entrepreneurs and personal use It would be great to know and my complaint will be invalid otherwise please get smarter employ data

Avoid Grey finance

I will commend the fact the making of payments are seamless and receiving payment easy However they are criminals You can deposit into your card but to withdraw from card must take over 24hrs They keep taking cents from my card with no record of such transactions on the history and most time use the title of your last transaction to perpetrate this scam When you get in touch with them They will rather make flimsy excuses of throw tantrums at you than resolve or refund you Avoid grey co

Good intl payment terrible local transfers

Your card works well for some subscription payments but my my is it terrible for local Nigerian payments You have one of the most expensive transaction fees I ve seen customers have to send emails for reversals it is never automatically reverted you don t even refund the transaction fee for a reversal Also money transfers are slow from local bank to local bank International payment using a Grey card works well but the local payments is a terrible experience for mePlease note that when I m speaking about transfers I am speaking of transfers from the Naira wallet to another Nigerian bank account I m not saying I m using the dollar card for local payments I hope this clears things up Sending money from my Grey naira account wallet to other Nigerian banks is what is a terrible experience for me

I don t like the ridiculous fee your brand charges How will you charge 2 dollar for every dollar that enters It is unfair

grey had a nice start but this new changes where the minmum fees of 2 2 euros is really hurting folks with small income i hope you revert back to the 1 without min fees

i reaaly appreciate your service it has been a great experience with you i still haven t been able to receive money from the USA and I need to be able to people couldn t send me money if there is any way I can help those people to send me money directly to my grey account I d appreciate a tutorial or something like that

Transaction issues

On several occasions transactions have come off as incomplete It is either I fund my wallet and the money doesn t get there or I do a naira to dollar conversion and it hangs Secondly reversal time takes too long 48hours is a long time when it comes to forex transactions due to the volatile nature of exchange rates A lot of the time these issues mean I am losing money or opportunities and that is not good enough

Unnecessary high charges for small transactions Better off using something like geegpay or cleva if you re dealing with anything less than 250 250 250

2 MINIMUM FEE A ROBBERY TO SOME

In 2024 I would had given this a four or five star but the updated policy and charges this is just startling I consider it only favourable for large transaction customers but a robbery to those who make small transaction The 2 minimum charge update I must say is inconsiderate and should be reviewed Other than this I think the service is efficient and reliable
