Mistakes made by Group1 Toyota that are not corrected
I am have no joy at all getting mistakes corrected by Group 1 Toyota Medway formally Beadles My car was serviced on the 16th June 23 and instead of the actual vehicle milage being entered on the invoice which sets the history at My Toyota The actual Milage is 9961 NOT THE 99961 miles entered I have reported the error twice now no response and no correction The second error relates to a service contract which reverted to a vehicle we owned 9 years ago a Yaris and not the Toyota Corolla GR we bought from Group 1 in 2021 Group 1 get a grip please

Unhelpful and Poor customer experience
Took my Golf R to VW Chelmsford which is Group 1 My month old used approved Golf R was not sold by them but has a manufacture fault causing the sunroof surround to crack the service department here firstly tried to get me to accept a charge of 144 for inspecting the car if not under warranty it s used approved with 23 months warranty remaining amd I told them there was no way I was accepting a charge I collected my car today because they would not give me a courtesy car after they told me it wasn t covered by warranty and that the selling dealership refused fo cooperate or assist with the resolution which was a blatent lie Quite the contrary the selling dealer provided them documentation proving VWUK recognise this fault and fully fund the part in addition the selling dealer in wales was happy to pay the labour so that the charge was completely covered So why this Chelmsford Vw dealer would lie and offer such a negative customer experience is beyond me But safe to say I would not recommend them to do anything related to a VW and shared on the VWROC site so that people do not go there for the same poor experience as me My selling dealer is fully covering the repair and helping with the logistics of having to travel to them I wish they were my local dealer but will be going to Marshalls in Harlow and not going near Group 1 any time soon

Appalling customer service from Group 1
Appalling customer service from Group 1 Toyota Aylesford No updates on warrenty work being carried out to trace water leaks into the roof lining boot area and rear passenger floor Group 1 have had our car for a total of 2 weeks to attempt to find the cause of the leak It takes over 20 minutes for someone to answer the phone in service if it s answered at all call the sales line and the phone is answered in two rings They cannot or will not offer a courtesy car either The only thing they offer is a lack of interest and lack of attention to giving good customer service Avoid this dealership we wish we had I had to give one star but Group 1 is not worthy of this at all The sales team were desperate to get me to leave a review for taking 32 000 for a leaking Toyota so it s a begrudged 1 from me service

Avoid Chris Beazley from Audi Whetstone
Hope to warn everyone to stay clear from Chris Beazley and be wary if you re unlucky having need to deal with Chris Had a job interview with Chris Beazley the after sales manager I have over the years I ve been interviewed by various dealerships and numerous other companies who are more prestigious more expensive than Audi such as Mercedes-Benz BMW and Land Rover but I have never ever come across an awful person as arrogant and as rude as Chris Beazley I received nothing but disrespect from him constant digs sarcastic comments and continuously putting words into my mouth I felt he was purposefully trying to test me antagonise me for his own pleasure and unknown to me the interview turned out to be a complete assassination of my character and my morals and I believe this was a set up for Chris to try hit me where it hurts and nothing makes sense as we ve never met before and he knows nothing about me and made it clear I wasn t a good fit I ve just wished I ve had been rejected in the first place before having any form of contact with me to start with and especially arranging an interview with me To make matters worse I emailed Chris and his management team who yet I still have not heard from I received a reply from Chris saying he was going to take me on board but unknown to Chris I had a conversation with my agency and told me he had a chat with Chris and has said he definitely had no interest in taking me on board This also totally shows Chris is dishonest liar to cover his own tracks and thought at the same time he could assault my intelligence which backfired against him I m glad no money or business was involved and I can imagine what a con man and cowboy Chris Beazley is if any sort business were to be involved hope he gets what he deserves and I m certainly glad I don t own an Audi as I always had BMW s as their cars are superior in every aspect in quality reliability and status and definitely in customer service Is this the teaching of Whetstone Audi and to treat customers as if they are dirt underneath your shoe

Group1 Volkswagen Dartford - SCAMMERS
Group1 VW Dartford - absolutely appalling service Zero interest in customers once the sale has been made and as for customer service this is shockingly aberrant Purchased brand new VW Tiguan in Dec 23 and on collection bluetooth system not working stone chips to bodywork Was booked in for to be sorted 4 weeks later Was then told there was no fix for the Bluetooth issue and I was also told VW was aware of the problems and working on a fix - Bear in mind this car would have been built late 2022 early 2023 so this wouldn t be a new problem Yet i was not informed of the problems prior to purchase else i would nto have purchased A month later on visiting the dealership i was spoken to like a 2nd class citizen and told I would just have to put up with it I filed a formal complaint to Group1 and despite waiting over 10 weeks i have still not had any form of response I have informed them i wish to reject the vehicle under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 not fit for purpose irreparable and not of satisfactory quality yet they have done nothing Volkswagen UK Customer Service have done very little with the response it s a matter between you and the dealership So I ve purchase a 38 000 car which doesn t work how it should and neither the dealership nor the manufacturer are interested This isn t an isolated case either the After Sales person at the dealership informed me they have a number of vehicles with exactly the same problem Absolutely disgusting that they feel it s acceptable to knowingly sell faulty cars without disclosing the problems I ve mentioned just one of 2 issues with the car the second issue being relating to a specification i was told was present on the vehicle but in fact will cost me an additional 250 to get working Absolutely corrupt and unscrupulous dealership

Buyer caution advised cannot be trusted
Purchased a used Tiguan for just under 30K Had Autoglym coating applied it was so badly applied it made the paintwork look very shoody blemishes on every panel Prior to sale noticed rear brake discs badly corroded refused to replace yet 3 weeks and 500 miles later the service department advised replacementThe paperwork given to me prior to the sale stated the Extras that was fitted After purchase one of the extras was found to be missing Although they had miss sold the car they point blank refused to rectify their mistake On taking advice I was advised to go to court However my wife had recently been diagnosed with a heart condition and I didn t need the stress so they got away with miss selling Over 50 years of buying cars this has been my worst experience

Group 1 VW Dartford
Group 1 VW Dartford Worst customer experience For the past eight months I have been trying to book an appointment to have my car s faulty parking sensor checked and recall work completed Unfortunately my phone calls have consistently gone unanswered Recently I was finally able to bring my car in for service However it sat in the service department for three days without any work being done As a result I had to collect the car as I needed it for work I am very disappointed with the lack of communication and the delay in service Would i use Group1 in the future - no way never in my life

Absolutely the worst car dealer ship i have encountered zero customer service walked in to enquire about a certain car was told no they haven t got one available to look at so i kindly said thank you and walked out they did not try and attempt to ask me any questions as to whether they could help with anything else o walked out and say the exact car i had enquired about sitting on the forecourt i have always found this dealership to have poor customer service but today was on another level ive gone to JCB in Medway and had exceptional customer service The owner of this company s should be worried terrible
