Good customer service shame about the policy

Good customer service in the experience that I had Rather expensive administration fees for the service I received Needed a short form insurance policy to cover a house during sale Over 100 worth of admin fees applied for cancelling early but well over a month into the contract Disappointing and wont be using again This is a classic aggressive tactic from an insurance agency using hidden costs to create income I know this will be in the small print but hey ho

Mainly lack of email addresses other than their complaints address Their Chat line should have an explanation after you have entered your name email address that you hit the Submit button before starting the Chat I was trying to enter my problem before hitting the Submit button to no effect

Good company premium increase not

How to rate a company that provided a great service but now expects you to pay double the premium price to keep it I made one claim for storm damage two years ago and in was dealt with promptly My premium then increased by 30 This year they want almost double that I see no justification for that and have found the same cover with another rated company for far less

Renewal premium

I phoned to adjust my content cover down by at least 25k and following a house survey I was advised that the replacement cover was too high and should be adjusted to around 650k I considered my premium would be correspondingly reduced but was horrified to be told that in fact it would be increased In view of this the cover was left at the original figure I would welcome the views of your Underwriters in this regard

Not impressed with the online chat assistant

Rather straightforward getting a quote and paying for the home content insurance However I am not impressed with the online chat assistant Asikul who made me felt rushed and tried to close the chat when my queries were not fully and satisfactorily answered Please improve or you will lose my business next time

Flat roof cover excluded

Having completed the quote form and discussed cover with your agents I was horrified to find that the part of my roof which is flat is not covered At no stage was I alerted to this significant lack of cover It was only after I had paid the premium and received the documents that I found out

I think your website should state that your pricing is dynamic By not accepting the online quote I obtained yesterday I have paid almost 84 extra Most of us are not used to this in the insurance market
