Imago is a life saver

Imago is a life saver Given the state of trans healthcare in my home country I am pretty much required to go for third party services or DIY in order to live my life while I am in the endless grindstone process of wait times and queues Since I still want a doctor involved in the process I am 100 adamant on the first of those options I first went with a competing service GGP but given their recent changes I decided to try out Imago which I had heard about on Reddit And I can t be happier the pricing is less than I used to pay and the experience has been stellar I started off with an informal chat with the actual founder of Imago who explained the process and we ended up talking a long while about our personal journeys like we had known eachother for years What followed was a quite extensive questionnaire about my medical history expectations and so on After this I submitted extensive blood tests T E Liver values and a whole bunch more markers Finally I had a meeting with my doctor at Imago who discussed my options and actually provided unrelated health advice based on my blood works which made me talk to my regular care about something I had not even known was an issue otherwise A few weeks later I got my prescription and can continue living as my true self Another huge perk is that Imago actively keeps in contact with me through email and is super quick to answer any questions or concerns I may have I have nothing but praise so far to give for this service which is literally saving my life right now I only wish the official route was as efficient understanding and caring as these people are

Quick not expensive for private and great communication Communication has been kind quick and professional My prescription got accepted no problem Benu Netherlands and I recieved the medication one day later Thank you everyone at Imago

Great and affordable service for trans people

Imago is a great service for trans people across Europe and since they re also pretty affordable they fill out a much needed niche and very important role providing trans people with lifesaving healthcare I ve been in my country s public system for about a year now and I have 1-2 years left of pointless waiting for a doctor to maybe prescribe me hormones if said doctor feels like I m suffering badly enough from gender dysphoria yet also simultaneously am doing super well in life and mentally Otherwise I might receive yet another letter telling me to wait a year or two 7 weeks after initially contacting Imago I was able to receive my lifesaving medicine from my local pharmacy without issue and that includes the time I spent waiting for blood test results from my own doctor 1 week and the time spent waiting for the physical prescription to be mailed to me 1 5 weeks Now that s actual help And that s an acceptable timeline for receiving this kind of help I ve had nothing but positive experiences with the people at imago and I feel like the process has gone very smoothly Everyone at Imago seems very passionate about the work they do and I greatly appreciate it because I wouldn t have been here still once my country got done washing their hands clean before maybe reaching out to help me if it wasn t for Imago Thank you thank you thank you I appreciate you all so much Edited 28 6 2024 to keep up to date

Incredibly satisfied with the service I ve received so far excited for the future

I put my faith into Imago following the decay of GGP and took a gamble on the startup I was yet to start HRT so worst case scenario I would have lost 200 and tried something else out after saving a bit Options in the UK were limited at best I had my initial appointment with Zofia and felt pretty at ease about the company she was incredibly professional and transparent about the nature of starting up a clinic and the potential difficulties it could face After signing up I sent off the requested bloods and had an appointment with an endocrinologist a couple weeks later I received a hand signed prescription the week after and had zero issues getting it prescribed by my pharmacy The service that Imago tg has provided has been nothing short of incredible so far and I m so thankful that I took a chance with them Their communication has been stellar every step of the way and I m stunned by how fast the company has processed everything for me I m looking forwards to seeing the future of this service and I m incredibly happy I went with them I d highly reccomend them to anyone migrating from another clinic or starting GAHT for the first time Everyone is so welcoming and they seem to have a solid foundation to expand the service P S I m writing this after 9 days of being on my prescription

The best and very highly recommended

I have met the founder of Imago and I must say she is amazing professional and kind hearted Everyone that I have come in contact with at Imago are amazing My experiences with Imago founder I got to learn that she is very knowledgeable thoughtful caring and strong willed she listens allows room for questions She is very open minded and creates a very welcoming environment community for Trans people My experience with my Doc he is very informative helpful and polite He is very reassuring and does not dress to impress but rather his dressing created a safe space for me to be myself it didn t feel like I was talking to a Dr as most of my experience with Doctors are not so positive he listens allowed room for me to ask questions and he answered them He was very professional and friendly and I would highly recommend Imago staff are just amazing they respond to emails very quickly and try to sort you as soon as possible while still providing a quality service Highly recommended

Saving my life

I was on hormones for many years with gendergp so I know the service very well I ended up needing a prescription in the big chaos they had and no matter what I did they kept messing up things So I made the decision to shift to Imago They have been so nice and cooperative They got my case processed extra quickly because they knew first hand what it was like to be unable to get my hormones So they took a special approach to help me out from the GenderGP chaos And I m deeply greatfull for that But even now having experienced imagos service first hand I would never consider going back to GenderGP or shifting service They are super professional and the standards are so much higher with Imago Now that I m with them I ve realised how bad the service at GenderGP actually was in comparison to this I feel like my treatment is much better taken care of and in way more competent hands This really is high level service they are providing and every person in the company even does it with kindness

Very helpful and kind My process was quick and I have received a paper prescription for my hormones Imago is very pleasant to work with as you are treated like a person instead of just a source of money I would recommend them
