Buyer beware If you cancel your subscription they ll remove your access to your account immediately even if you ve paid for a whole year

IDF is a website with outdated material and inappropriate business practices As a student I was hoping to supplement material from IDF with my university classes However the classes were large irrelevant to the process of being a UX designer Frankly there were other websites with better material more support for students and more professionalism After a year of membership the CEO will e-mail you and ask for feedback When you give her feedback she will reply defensively with a snarky tone That alone should tell you about the empathetic design and market research approach that the CEO of all people does I have told her to remove me from their database for all materials from IDF and I hope they can remain GDPR compliant and remove all of my information immediately Stay far away from IDF research other opportunities and find more engaging and more supportive courses

I was a member for more than 3 years and today I decided to cancel my membership I paid annually and was billed in march 16th 1 All the certificates I gained during paying for my membership and it s around 600 dollars 15 12 3 are not available anymore I lost them2 they closed the acces to my account immediately even though I paid until March I think for the organisation that teaches people how to create good User Experience it s unacceptable Using such dark patterns not specifying if I cancel my membership I ll lose money and removing all the certificates also wasn t specified anywhere is quite bad I considered to reactivate my account in the future -I just didn t use the account the last year but they made everything to bury themselves This is pretty bad

I signed up for the annual plan and took several courses and I can only say that I am very disappointed There are many comments on the internet that speak highly of this website and that is why I subscribed The price is cheap for the large number of courses they have but the presentation of the information is very bad It is very poorly designed very long and boring texts with very few examples and the examples that exist are very very out of date Sometimes in the lessons you find videos with a very bad realization In short I would not recommend this page to anyone The information is presented in a very dense way that makes it indigestible Just think of one thing would you join a website where they teach design which has such an outdated design

Bad customer experience Be aware of their very hidden auto-renewal notification they didn t inform the member clearly they only send an email with a title Get ready for another great year with the Interaction Design Foundation The renewal information has been pushed at the bottom of the emails with just a few sentences like it s nothing happen yeah but we re taking another 144 from your wallet and assume that s okay once they took the money from your account you can t claim it back I emailed the CS they refused to refund any money to me They can only offer me 6 free months memberships as responses

Each lesson is filled with long ass texts so it s so tiring to read through it Also sometimes questions are totally subjective so there s no concrete answer for it The contents in the video are all outdated and also the instructors are just mumbling in the video I can barely catch what they are saying

This organisation is dodgy If you forget to cancel your automatically-renewed subscription they refuse to refund it Even if you flag it within 24 hours It s a disgrace This is the only organisation that s ever refused this request to me It s just predatory

My membership was renewed without my consent using my card details This is really unacceptable coming from such a renowned company I would like to get a refund My phone number is also being misused Please provide a solution to get an immediate refund Also please provide solution to remove the payment method from my account

They never notified me of the auto renewal and were very unprofessional in our communication Refused to refund Additionally when I did cancel - after they took my money - they blocked me from using the service which I paid for I can t believe this is a org This is fraudulent I learned a lot from other UX-UI courses Their classes were outdated and not worth the cost
