Good classes sometimes inconsistent course quality

Overall I enjoyed most of the classes I took with the IxDF especially the ones on quantitative UX and journey mapping The IxDF team is also extremely responsive in responding to queries I have and resolving them quickly I am only giving four stars because some courses were of lower quality the instructor rambled takeaways were unclear and the powerpoint slides were blocks of text The course agenda also did not match up with what I was hoping to see For instance for the accessibility course it would have been useful to see a test script for accessibility testing instead of simply being told to watch and learn from a series of videos A more consistent standard of quality across courses would have been ideal

Awesome platform

I really like the format of the courses it s really a good content and the professors that I had watched are great The platform it s very nice as well very clean intuitive and smooth The support it s awesome I always receive via e-mail messages ou inspiration to continue my classes new courses etc The only thing I think it s not so great yet is the video player Sometimes it didn t load well and keep stucking while loading

How to Design for Augmented and Virtual Reality

Well I ve loved how content is designed and presented as case studies or examples of applied theory I really like how I can find courses related to my stage or period I mean that sometimes you learned something by experiences more than theory and It s great to see how I can find it well adapted to different profiles Something to improve The examples We are working on IT world and everything is been updated so fast Take that aspect into account That s all

Great for learning at your pace

The courses are full of helpful information Ones are more theoretical than others but I find effective the design and depth of the lessons It also helps that you can progress at your own pace The masterclasses are wisdom in a nutshell and I live that you can rewatch them over and over again

Excellent courses and format

Excellent courses and format The only reason I m not giving it a 5 is that I wish there was a part of the course that was dedicated to learning the software basics In my case I d have loved a chapter to get into Spark for example Besides that the learning experience is really smooth and motivating

Great customer service

Recent experience Very friendly and helpful customer service Got my certification even after that long time It could be improved to have access to the account info and classes documents certifications from the past The time I did a class at IDF was 3 5 years ago I remember it was very good content and a lot of additional sources to get deeper into the material I liked the practical exercises I missed a little the interaction between participants and diversity in the form of content mainly text and video

I just completed my first course at Interaction Design Foundation Nice change between reading and video learning material You have multiple-choice questions and open-ended questions to test your knowledge I like that they keep you well-informed and push you to go further If you achieved your certificate goals you can take another step to be among the top 10 On to the next course

My good experience

I think I had a good experience with the platform and was able to learn new things but in some situations I feel frustrated because some answers are mysterious or very similar and I don t understand them and I have done it wrong But without being that I like it a lot

Interaction Design Foundation

I really enjoy the courses at IxDF One of the reasons is being able to attend the lessons at my own pace rather than being part of a live session I find I learn more by taking my own notes and rewinding re-reading if necessary The mixture of video and text multiple choice and open ended questions also suit me And as expected the user experience is good and the site easy to navigate I do think some of the 30 minutes video tutorials could be a bit shorter as some of the content can get a repetitive But overall I really recommend IxDF

The people teaching the classes had top education and work experience I couldn t believe I was learning from some of them at such a fair price
