I m glad to see I m not the only one on here I wasn t notified of the autorenewal for membership and was charged OVER DOUBLE the cost of my previous year s membership When I first got on board I recommended this company to so many people now I m thoroughly dissatisfied with their communications and customer service I found many courses examples dated but could put up with it for the initial investment

Site would crash during courses surface level material only suited for beginners that would be gained through a single year of working in UX or IxD If you want to get a basic understanding but it is not useful to practicing professionals in the UX or IxD space

I used my wife s credit card for a one time event in IDF early this year Earlier today they deducted my wife s credit card for a yearly subscription on which I have no intention and interest to have that offer I d like to request for a refund as I had no intention in getting a yearly subscription

An organization that claims to teach good user experience and ethical design does not even seem to understand the basics of ethics Even though I made sure I cancelled the automatic renewal they still charged me for another year I contacted them within hours requesting a refund and they shamelessly refused it This is just appalling and an utter scam

This is a scam horrible website I am going to be honest here The material is boring and dry You will soon lost your interest of studying on this site I highly recommend you to go to Coursera Their pricing and refund policy is a scam The owner will use all kind of tricks to scam you the money and not refund you SO DO NOT PAY FOR THE SITE YOU WILL NOT GET YOUR MONEY BACK

When I finally ended the subscription after they had withdrawn 180 euros from my bank account without my knowledge They also blocked me from logging in again so I can t access my certificates without renewing the subscription I m really disappointed at this organization and I feel scammed

I would like to share that I ve taken the Mobile UX Course with 90 success but since I don t like to sugarcoat the truth and want to prevent anyone from making the pricey mistake to take these unprofessional and lacklustre courses I would like to share my honest opinion on the course and the Foundation itself Prior to taking the Mobile UX Design course I noticed a massive number of LinkedIn posts about people primarily UI UX Web designers who were attending various IxDF courses then later sharing the news and respectively increasing the ranking and popularity of the Interaction Design Foundation The general pros of the IxDF courses in my opinion is the structure of the lessons divided into always available numbered sections in the sidebar the paced manner of taking these courses with your own timing and probably the fact that the content is delivered in the form of both videos and texts And the advantages simply run out here Given the fact that these are or are expected to be professional design theory courses it is highly unacceptable for them to contain E X T R E M E L Y outdated visual examples dating back to 2010s like mobile UIs Moreover the slides in the videos provided look totally amateur Both all the UI examples and the slides look absolutely unprofessional and unable to catch and satisfy the attention of the course taker to say the least Unfortunately each course is packed with a whole senseless chapter devoted on an overview of how the lessons are structured and to my surprise there are numerous meaningless questions after each section which also partly form you final course results Moreover there is a large amount of side information which has almost nothing to do with the course subject As for the questions the multichoice answers provided at the end are sometimes ambiguous and too similar to each other which doesn t help solidify your knowledge even more than that it confuses you Another problem I had with those answers is that the answer itself was not clearly stated in the lesson instead I had to read between the lines and guess what the teacher wanted to say rather than be given precise information In conclusion I would undoubtedly U N R E C O M M E N D any of the IxDF courses One would definitely gain incomparably better knowledge and perspective from professional design theory books rather than sticking to these pricey time-consuming and unprofessional courses Thank you for reading and feel free to share

Please note that taking a course and paying for it doesnt mean you wont be charged again I only took one course from this company last year got my certificate This year they recharged me with 190 I didnt even know this was a recurring submission I wont be using this website again in my life but now I have to pay for another year

Courses are fine but it s very difficult to get them to stop billing you I paid for a staff member to do the course on my credit card The staff member left without cancelling the subscription Every year I have the same battle I wish we d never signed up

Not 20 the real price is 205On the website it says they charge you 20 and then they charge you 205 there is no way they refund you the money on the same day No contact number just an email that s it Horrible
