It is great to have such a specialized platform with this set of tools to build a new career in Design The format for learning at your own pace is great Yet the quizzes should be improved as -to me- not really reflect what you may have understood from the lessons

Courses and master classes from Interaction Design Foundation have significantly helped me grow as a designer and most recently as a UX leader The courses have tought me both actionable hands-on skills and also new mindsets and ways of thinking I especially like the possibility to study at my own pace and return to any course materials afterwards By this date I ve completed 5 courses and attended 4 master classes My only small complaint is about the multiple choice questions that determine your course points Most of the time they are good you really need to have comprehended what was taught on the lesson to be able to answer correctly But sometimes they ask trivial details that don t really define your design skills in any way e g which year did x do y and sometimes the wrong answers are written in a downright obvious way The lecturers have all been great very professional and well-known in design industry My special mention goes to Laura Klein for her super well structured and practical courses and master classes They ve had the most impact on my own design expertise

They provide good courses with content and a video mix Also they have a grading system where you will be questioned at the end of each lesson What I really feel great about IxDF is whenever I have trouble with something they provide a quick solution to all my problems and also they have flow wise chart where you can learn from basic

I ve undergone numerous courses in the past but the IDF course truly illuminated my understanding of UX Unlike my previous experiences the IDF course was the first where I felt a profound connection to the subject matter It provided me with the clarity and insights needed to grasp the intricacies of UX design

Overall the platform was easy to navigate the customer support was very time-efficient and helpful and the content was interesting and informative What I realised for myself was that context-based learning works best for me Ex in my daily work I ll need to clarify something about doing user research To get an answer to my question I ll try to talk to somebody about it or try to find an answer online Then applying straight away what I learned is what helps best solidify my learnings In some videos on the platform I found some content to be more relevant than others which made it slightly less engaging for me But for overall design knowledge I think the content was quite informative The unfortunate thing for me was that I didn t mange to spend as much time on the platform as I would ve like to which would ve definitely helped me get more out of it

The platform is vary well constructed in the sense of going thrue courses in the maner that provides you with a good study tempo and comprehensive knowledge It is clear that people who mastered user experience field made this That is one of the first impessions I had when started using IDF

Interaction Design Foundation is a great platform to provide people with the skill set to enter UI UX Industry If you are looking for a platform where you are building your knowledge base in interaction design This is what you choose

Interaction Design courses are really good There is a mixture of reading and videos and a good range of courses from a trustworthy provider They also provide templates e g for research planning which are useful resources One thing I would improve is that some courses are purely video but I prefer a mixture throughout so you re not just watching video after video But this varies by course so not a huge issue

I have enjoyed studying with IxDF Being able to take any course at my own pace is great and I usually have multiple courses ongoing at the same time Most courses I ve taken have been great and I ve learned a lot What I have learned has given me new deeper insights into my work and in particular improved my understanding of the vast field of UX design A couple courses do show their age a bit the content having become partially outdated as technology moves forward at a fast pace I hope they revisit the courses to make sure the content stays relevant Gamification points for answers leaderboards adds incentive and I always try to get as high a score as possible I ve also taken some Master Classes on topics that interest me While most have been quite insightful a couple left me wanting for more in-depth content to warrant the Master Class title Overall I have a positive opinion of IxDF and I look forward to taking many more courses with them

Overall I enjoyed most of the classes I took with the IxDF especially the ones on quantitative UX and journey mapping The IxDF team is also extremely responsive in responding to queries I have and resolving them quickly I am only giving four stars because some courses were of lower quality the instructor rambled takeaways were unclear and the powerpoint slides were blocks of text The course agenda also did not match up with what I was hoping to see For instance for the accessibility course it would have been useful to see a test script for accessibility testing instead of simply being told to watch and learn from a series of videos A more consistent standard of quality across courses would have been ideal
