Jetbrains is a Russian company and can steal your data

I am disappointed with this company Obviously they don t know how to respect users I bought their products myself Now I want to buy more products for employees When I asked for some renewals coupon they were totally unwilling to provide them and had a bad attitude as if they were mocking me It s incredible to me they obviously haven t heard the story of ACE hardware and I will not buy any products from this company again

Bugs that render the software unusable unfixed for 11 years

Jetbrains is a Russian company so be ware that they can steal your personal data Jetbrains Academy is very old and very expensive The prices e started from 300 euros which is more expensive than courses at Harvard university

Customer Support is not what it used to be

The license to their IDE PhpStorm costs 10 a month and it has bugs where you cannot type with any non-US keyboard layout something that every other text editor has figured out The issues have been known for literally a decade and they still haven t fixed them

I despise working with their products

The customer support in the last year has really gone down hill Reported issues are not being responded to in a timely manner I have one that has not been responded to for 3 weeks now

14 years and still no resolution to an issue

Every time I try and fix an issue with something in a JetBrains product it is so difficult They hide everything that the tool does from you the documentation is awful because it only gives the easiest happy path answers Stop using big clunky tools from Jetbrains and move on to better software

Terrible git integration

Although JetBrains ReSharper is a useful product there is a really annoying and time wasting problem with their software that was first raised 14 years ago and has not been resolved JetBrains have basically refused to address the issue which would be really simple for them to fix If they don t care about their products then neither do I

This company does not respect you

This company does not respect anything removes your annual reduction of 40 on the price overnight under a false pretext and without having asked for anything No possibility of negotiation with closed customer support that makes you understand that it is like that and that you have to pay full price even if you have been a customer for 4 years

The tools they release every year seem

The tools they release every year seem to be progressively laggy Trying to use multiple studios simultaneously is virtually impossible as they consume all the available memory on your computer I ve also experienced constant issues with lost indexes Additionally their licensing system is not user-friendly I have a license from my company and a private one since I use two different studios I m constantly having to log in and out when switching between them

So i m gonna be straight with the problem PyCharm is kinnda the worst IDE that may and maybe the worse one i had used it in my life It has a great concept in the back but the optimization and the performance is the worst it s really bad when i see that the ide is eating my ram more than Cyberpunk 2077 but the difference is that Cyberpunk works much but too much better than this IDE Just imagine i have to wait like 10 minutes for a stupid bytecode programming language which is python to compile I know that python is bad when it s about speed but don t use the same way of thinking for the IDE Besides that i m not using a russian cpu too so do something about the performance and the optimization Such a great tool and you make it so bad
