First set of furniture which had 10 year warranty started rusting at 3 years and was replaced Replacement set now rusting at 3 years We bought Kettler based on my parents set which is 20 years old with no rusting It seems that the shift of manufacturing to China has reduced the quality and Kettler now seem to have reduced the warranty accordingly Not happy

I purchased a Palma set of furniture from Leeks of Melksham 2 months ago I put something on the table and left a small scratch on the surface no amount of washing got rid of it so I checked on the Kettler website and sure enough they sell small pots of paint for touching up however I could not find my colour so I contacted Kettler ref getting a small touch up pot of paint from them at a cost of 8 I was informed that they do not supply this colour in the touch up pots but could offer me a new metal strip to replace the scratched one at a cost of 18 not happy at being unable to rectify my problem easily or without additional cost of 18 very disappointed with Kettler foot note be aware that the table top is easily marked

Apparently a common problem the button on my Kettler garden umbrella broke in two and the button part fell out Helpful email correspondence confirmed that they don t sell that part so I obtained a 3D printed part from sgd3d co uk A bit tricky to fit you need to separate the swivel joint by first drilling off the open end of the alloy rivet tap out the rivet while supporting the pole then tap out the roll pin which actually holds it all together You can then separate the top and bottom parts by slightly opening the umbrella The new button may require a bit of sanding to make sure it fits the slot and moves easily then with the joint still separated first refit the spring and the button With the button back in place you can then slide the top and bottom sections back together and then while carefully supporting the pole tap in the roll pin back in I then used a nut and bolt cut to length to replace the rivet but you can leave it out it was only to make it look smarter I ve no idea how long the plastic replacement will last but it can t be worse that the original part which seemed to be made of a cheap alloy I hope this helps

I ordered a Palma Lounge Set with an SQ table in Oyster from Gardens4Less When unpacked the SQ table was broken Gardens4Less did replace it very quickly I had not had the opportunity to use the set until we has the first bit of hot weather only to find ridges appear in the top of the resin SQ table Knowing they were not there when I unpacked it I made contact with both Graden4Lesss and Kettler I was told by Kettler that I should have been using coasters on the table as the suns prisms have caused this to happen by being magnified by a glass or can At no time was this evident in any paperwork whilst unpacking the table I explained that I didnt think the table is actually fit for purpose as its a garden table and although I am careful you shouldnt need coasters on an outside table Kettler offered to exchange the damaged panels but thinking the table not fit for purpose I asked if I could exchange for the cheaper glass top table I have now been told that I will not be getting a refund for the difference which is in excess of 350 00

We ordered a garden table from this company direct and had a string of items delivered that were either damaged or parts missing Basically not happy with the quality of the table and that there must be no quality assurance in place The first person in their customer service I dealt with over this matter seemed not to care however the lady who eventually sorted out collecting the table and my refund did have good customer service skills and therefore I cannot fault her as a matter of fact if it was not for her then this review would have one star I am just very disappointed that a company whose products I have purchased before sent me three tables that were not fit for purpose - the first one sent did not even have any legs

Furniture is good quality but the infintree tops are useless They melt when glasses refract light onto the top Unless you plan to use mugs or use in cloudy weather they are a waste of money Kettler not interested and tell you to use a coaster which is not the problem Avoid

We purchased the Kettler Palma corner set from Charlies It s a gorgeous set however the quality is poor A few of the cushions faded after a few months of use meaning we now have mismatched cushions Then we move onto the table itself - despite using coasters and table mats if the sun hits any glass at the right angle it causes the table to melt We had it replaced once and purchased larger table mats but it hasn t helped and we are left with small holes in the table again The only way around this would be to use a tablecloth to cover the whole table or to not use any glasses which defeats the purpose of an outdoor dining set It s such a shame as I do really love the design it s just not fully fit for purpose

We bought a Palma rattan garden suite with an infinitree top table It arrived four days ago and we welcomed the Easter sun so we could christen it Within half an hour of sitting on it on the first day of sunshine the table surface bubbled up in three separate places Having read the handbook that accompanied the suite we saw that it advises that you use coasters under wine glasses as sunlight can be magnified by the glass base and damage the surface What is even more of a surprise was that the sun damage was nowhere near where the glasses were placed and that the puckered plastic was very close to the table edge We can only suspect that refracted sun rays were channeled by the wine glass rims rather than bases We have contacted the supplier and are awaiting a response Quite simply the table is not fit for purpose

I bought a plush floor heater Which we used for a 70th Birthday meal when sitting outside Really disappointed it is huge so expected it to throw out a reasonable amount of heat To be honest nobody where ever they where sitting seemed to benefit from it It shows on the graphs the heat pattern but no one found it effective A lot of money to find no real difference Also a very very short lead which seems silly and it seemed to use a lot of electricity for no real benefit It feels like a waste of money

Had my Kettler Casual dining set for about 18 months now I paid thousands for it I am on the second set of covers they are supposed to be charcoal gray but get sun bleached in about 4 months turning a nasty mauve colour I was told it was a colour pigment issue with the first set but these are the same Second issue the retractable feet are not robust enough and they don t extend enough The plastic foot keeps coming off Several repairs later This isn t the quality I expected when originally buying them
