This is a long term review for the Kettler palma mini corner sofa cover I purchased the cover 4 years ago and have just disposed of it as UV and winter weather have rotted the fabric the securing straps snapped after the first winter and overall it s a bit disappointing I would pay more if it was made of a stronger material similar to a boat cover

Good in nearly every respect but do not think it won t rust it does We put ours away every winter but 2 out of 4 chairs were replaced under warranty no hassle because of rust and they are all rusting now plus the table What s more you can t get original paint other than for touch ups Perhaps they don t want to admit you will need it

I was contacted promptly by the company after posting this review and they are keen to resolve the matter I hope that we will come to some understanding and that the dissatisfaction I felt about the previous correspondence I have had with their customer service team will change to a more positive outcome I will review again when the matter is resolved I concur with the other reviews regarding the mesh furniture Kettler replaced my original set which rusted really badly due to terrible rust and after just one year it has started going rusty again I have now been told it is because I live near the coast If that is the case then it should be stated on their products Also the new set is not covered by the warranty So even though it is not fit for purpose I am left with having to replace it Very very poor and I will certainly never purchase from them again My next door neighbour and friends around the corner also have Kettler mesh furniture with the same problem I don t suppose all the reviews on here mentioning rust live by the coast though

Our new Palma Slat Dining table had 2 melted areas within an hour of first use A glass on the table in the sunshine caused the top to melt and it s taken 3 months to get the replacement slats We are very happy with the set as a whole and have a gazebo now so the issue will not happen again I do think kettler should include a warning in the instructions though I would expect to be able to use a glass on an outside table without any damage caused Kettler thanks for your reply We certainly do not recall seeing anything about the issue It would also be useful if the supplier could tell customers about this when ordering We would have gone for the glass top version if we d known

We ordered an RHS Chelsea companion bench from a supplier of Kettler furniture made of Eucalyptus wood but it arrived damaged so we sent it back The replacement they sent was a different bench called The Wisley in a colour nothing like the one we ordered and which we saw advertised The company who supplied it said that I had ordered a Wisley not a Chelsea so I then asked that if this was true why did they send me a Chelsea They did their best to help us locate another Chelsea in the advertised colour but then discovered that Kettler no longer have any in that colour in stock On searching for a Wisley on the website of the supplier there is no such product listed so Im puzzled I can now see the new version of the Chelsea appearing on the web and it is shown in the new non natural looking colour which is distinctly an orangy brown I reckon they stopped making them out of Eucalyptus and now use Teak and stain it and its horrid looking So Im now getting a refund

Bought a kettler palmer corner set online from a garden centre cost just over 2000 It looks the part however when the sun is on it the cushions become too hot to sit on I mean burning hot I really expected more for the price we paid Update Disappointed with response Yes we already do have a large awning over the furniture to try and help they still get very hot I do think this is a design fault I know dark colours absorb more heat but when committing to this purchase I did not consider that the cushions for an outdoor set that costs 2000 would become too hot to sit on when the sun it out Who would

We have had the Palma table and corner settee for a couple of years can t fault the settee but having problems with the table slats After a couple of weeks use the slats developed a bubbling effect on them we had no idea what caused them contacted John Lewis who kindly arranged to have the slats replaced recently the same problem has occurred and we realised it was caused by a glass when the weather was hot and sunny the slats also do get grease like marks on the top I would have expected an outdoor table to fair a bit better when used outdoors This has not deterred us from buying Kettler products as we purchased a couple of chairs last year and are very happy with them

I purchased a Kettler wooden garden bench for my elderly mother only to find there were 2 screws missing Very disappointing Update I emailed Kettler and they responded promptly offering to replace the missingscrews Thank you Kettler

Bought my Kettler Caredo table 4 chairs and umbrella set 840 The table is bendy when you lean on it with arms elbows and the grey is more black and the chairs hot to touch in the sun The umbrella moves a fair bit and often seems lobsided I thought I was buying quality with Kettler but am feeling somewhat disappointed and frustrated

We bought a Siena 4 piece set in late 2020 from Dawson s Department Store which wasn t assembled put out until Easter 2021 By October the table had gone rusty so I contacted Dawson s they arranged with Kettler for a replacement table Unfortunately by Easter 2023 the whole set had rusted I contacted Dawson s again who helped me because there were problems uploading images onto the Kettler website Two immediate neighbours had had the same rust problem were informed by Kettler that Siena was unsuitable for a coastal location were offered Surf instead at a small extra cost Kettler agreed to do the same for us Unfortunately a couple of things went wrong after because the replacement took several weeks then the delivery notification stated it was going to be Siena again It turned out there had been 2 accounts in my name the one with the Surf order had been deleted Anyway this was resolved the correct order was eventually despatched I m delighted with the result of getting Surf 5 the staff at Kettler were great 5 but not quite so much with the problems in between so I m sorry I can t give you a better overall score
