Wonderful conservatory roof replacement

Like so many others we couldn t use our conservatory for several months every year Looked into having a solid roof put on and realised it was a job for professionals using a system approved by local authority building control Turned to a couple of firms for quotes one of which was Kingfisher who we d used about 20 years ago at our previous property The quotes were very close so we went with kingfisher as we had a good experience previously albeit a long time ago Home visit and quote was quickly organised and order placed Was initially told to expect a 3 or 4 month wait for work to commence but delighted that everything came together within 6 or 7 weeks Communication was pretty good including with the subcontractors when they were brought in for specific tasks eg scaffolding The two kingfisher installers Craig and Chris were excellent very skilful and considerate and great ambassadors for the company The plasterer was a craftsman as well as an entertaining character The sub contractor electricians were excellent and extremely thorough The end result is fantastic given a wonderful fresh look to our conservatory and the effect on temperature and noise is every bit as good as we expected It s an expensive alteration but has unquestionably enhanced our home and we can highly recommend kingfisher to anyone thinking of going down this road

We recently had all new windows and doors for our house supplied and fitted by Kingfisher As this included 11 windows and 2 composite doors as well as replacement cladding this was no small expense We obtained a number of quotes to ensure we got a competitive price and were happy with the service provided From the very first home visit Kingfisher stood out The sales advisor was knowledgable professional courteous and honest and didn t make us feel pressured at all He patiently answered our many questions and outlined the process and timescale and followed this up with a detailed quote via email the next day Although Kingfisher weren t the cheapest quote we received the sales advisor made a great first impression and the quote was still very competitive Another positive was that the company had a wider selection of composite door styles than any of the other companies we had approached and we settled on one that was in keeping with the period of our property We discussed the option of designing a bespoke glass panel for the doors and they were very accommodating they even managed to send us a mock up of the design The fitters who attended were absolutely brilliant They worked hard kept us updated throughout and went above and beyond when encountering all the unexpected issues that often come up in old houses They were pleasant to be around and made sure everything was tidied up at the end of each work day The attention to detail really made a huge difference and the windows and doors were finished beautifully When the doors arrived we discovered they were key turn on both sides and we had requested a thumb turn lock on the inside We let the company know and the locks were changed to thumb turns the very next day with no drama whatsoever Having had a number of repairs and upgrades done on our home recently it was really reassuring to know that the company has a fitting team who don t need to be chivvied along or monitored The guys worked hard every day without fail and we left them to their expertise Highly recommends

We have had all of our windows doors soffits and fascia s replaced by Kingfisher Windows of Drighlington and wanted to leave a brilliant review for them Kingfisher are without doubt the market leaders in their field All of their products are made to the latest exacting standards and unlike so many of their competitors offer excellent value for money true high component quality and a lasting level of professional finish But what I wanted to spend a few minutes on today is to be able to recognise some of their brilliant staff Andy Russ Simon and Jeremy are part of the design and installation team and they deserve a special mention They are kind courteous and professional and in the odd times when we have needed their support they have been there for us No question is too small and the help is always given happily It really doesn t get any better than this An excellent product supported by one of the nations leading companies all underpinned by happy helpful and professional staff If you need very high-quality doors soffits fascia s and windows then give Kingfisher a call I should add that I have no connection with the company other than being a very very happy customer Edward Brush 07 August 2020

We had our ground floor windows and a patio door replaced by Kingfisher Windows of Drighlington and we where so pleased with the standard of work and quality of the windows we felt we wanted to leave a brilliant review for them Kingfisher have from the start to the finish been very professional and helpful The surveyor Simon was very good and sorted out the quote which we thought was a very good price Then Peter called soon after for final measurement and once again was very helpful On the day of fitting Danny and Josh arrived on time and soon began to cover the carpets and prepare to remove and fit the windows and patio door There was a slight hiccup with the patio but they very quickly sorted it out The standard of work and helpful attitude of the fitters was extremely good They soon had them fitted and finished of to a very high standard Their products are made to a very high standard and offer excellent value for money On the strength of there quality of work and product we have placed a further order for all the upstairs windows A big thankyou to you all

Kingfisher have recently installed all windows and a door at our property We can honestly say that from the salesman to the installation team the whole experience has been absolutely fabulous The installation team worked cleanly efficiently and were respectful to our property possessions occupants The quality of the Windows and door is second to non After being recommended by friends to Kingfisher we can only reiterate their recommendation - you won t be disappointed Thank you to all the team
