Surgeons aren t employed by the hospital they are paid commission Doctors providing overnight care questionable experience I had abdominoplasty and breast augmentation at Manchester Private Hospital 15 01 24 This resulted in me bleeding internally to the point where I lost consciousness the following evening 16 01 24 I questioned my condition I was scared and aware I was very poorly I was referred to as sassy and told I was being treated accordingly Less than 2 hours later staff tried to reach my surgeon and anaesthetist neither of which answered the calls The hospital had to phone an NHS ambulance less than 24 hours in to my care costing me 14 250 I was in a critical condition I spent over 14 hours in resuss in Manchester NHS trusts I have made formal complaints to the directors who have acknowledged the lack of care yet no further response I researched companies for many years I asked all the questions on care and facilities should complications occur yet the care I received was substandard Edit following MPH reply following this review I received a response to my complaint Although responded too does not mean the events did not occur so it absolutely is a true representation of my experience The best surgical out come is long gone with huge extensive scarring beyond any repair I received occasional communication from my surgeon how ever when in another emergency situation during a weekend following discharge from Manchester NHS I recieved no response Would you return to a private health provider that nearly killed you for further treatment I think not

I had open rhinoplasty at this hospital with their ENT surgeon on 2 10 2021 and it has been the worst decision of my life I have been left with a broken and deformed nose My nose is dented wonky leans to the right my tip hangs down and I have a pollybeak Prior to surgery my nose was completely straight and I just wanted the side elevation reducing and the tip making less pointy I am in pain with my nose and struggle going out in public because I am so ashamed of how I look Whilst the hospital have offered me a revision procedure free of charge which I appreciate I have declined this as in my opinion they cannot evidence that the alternative surgeon offered to me is experienced enough to rebuild my nose I am therefore having to fund the cost of a revision myself which in the UK is around 15 000 On the day of my surgery I will say that the nursing staff and anaesthetist were all very nice and made me feel comfortable and well looked after And the hospital have been contactable when I have needed to speak to them

From start to finish of my journey the lack of communication was bare minimal I expected alot more to say it was a private hospital I was in and out no hanging around had to do the chasing myself to find information out even had a zoom meeting and they confused me with someone else and asked me what procedure i was wanting even thoe i had already had previous consultations and had the procedure date booked already I would expect the treatment I got from the NHS not a private clinic Confusion with doctors notes not been sent had to trace them and ask for them myself Had to cancel a post op appointment and had no contact from them since so had no follow up Was unhappy with the outcome not the size I wanted Not enough pain relief afterwards or strong enough had to get more from my doctor Making payment for my procedure was ridiculous had to drive 1hour and 40 mins to pay by chip and pin as unable to pay over phone Overall I was satisfied with the operation in regards to no health issues post op but everything else was pretty basic and I expected alot more

Not good Had eye bag removal about 4 years ago I had no aftercare and was told everything was fine when I had stitches removed I thought it was better than it was at least I ve just been to see someone who has validated my thoughts my face is uneven and I still have bags

AVOID Awful experience I fell through the cracks the team didn t contact me for ages didn t arrange my blood tests usually done weeks in advance until less than a week before my surgery date my surgery was massively changed a week before the intended date I had requested to speak to someone about my post-op painkillers well in advance of my surgery which wasn t done and then when I asked a question about that my surgeon cancelled the surgery and refused to listen to anything I had to say about it This was in July and although I was told it would be actioned immediately and take 4 weeks I am still waiting for the almost 20K of surgery fees to be refunded to me so absolutely nothing about this hospital is trustworthy

I m very unhappy with the rhinoplasty procedure that I had done under the care of Dr R in 2020 I knew as soon as the bandage came off that the alterations weren t good enough After voicing my concerns to Dr R during my first post op he assured me that the bone swelling would go down He also told me months after the initial procedure that I should have been told upon leaving hospital to perform frequent pressure massages on my nose - I wasn t told this He informed me that my nose wouldn t reach its final form for up to 2 years which I felt was his attempt at fobbing me off It is now way more than 2 years later and my nose is very lumpy across the bridge and seems to have got worse the more time has passed This is very upsetting after waiting my whole adult life to afford this procedure It has ended up looking like I ve had botched filler and I spent thousands for the luxury I have sent three emails to MPH but have been ignored each time So here is my 1 review PLEASE take my advice if you re thinking of having surgery at this facility think again

So I made a formal complaint regarding the surgery I paid for and what I received I received a formal response saying it would be investigated and a response by the 27th of June 2024 I ve heard nothing and no response to further emails I ve now requested all my files under GDPR In order I can progress to legal action Disgusting treatment

PLEASE AVOID AT ALL COSTS I have never been so traumatised in my life From having no after-care and calling and emailing and having no responses considering I ve got a major problem with my breast augmentation I had done here I have now been told my surgeon has gone back to South Africa and won t be coming back and apparently my patient coordinator has been let go My right breast is 10 times bigger than my left it has completely sagged And is causing me Horrible amounts of pain I m on extreme medication right now from my doctor and being reviewed by another surgeon From another company To help with this botched surgery Manchester Private hospital told me they can t do nothing until April 2025 Which is five months away Please avoid at all costs I don t want you to end up in my situation and multiple other people I am now bedbound and horrible Amounts of pain with my right breast and they won t help me at all after Multiple attempts for six months to get in contact with them I always have the excuse someone will call you back Or you missed your appointment when I was never even told about an appointment in the first place I have given them multiple times to sort this out But now I m gonna have to leave a review Manchester Private hospital you ve had Six months to help me and you haven t shame on you Please go on google reviews to see the images of what I have been left with

Absolutely a waste of money 10 5k for abdominal etching which never happened just standard lipo Fat injected into face again it didn t work No adequate pain management provided as asked for Which left me running around pharmacies No follow up appointment a complete nightmare and totally not what I paid the money for

Unhelpful wrong information given and overall a very poor customer service experience resulting in no treatment being sought Very poor
