Worth every penny
I bought a pair of Mukluks in winter 2017 and they are 100 the best pair of boots I have ever owned I did have a size conundrum initially as my one foot is a little bigger than the other and with a larger boot size my heels slipped out of the boots slighty as I walked but the smaller size were pretty snug I went with the smaller size and regretted it for about a week as my toenails felt a little bruised after extended time in them They must have stretched out slightly though really not by much though- not enough to warrant going down a size when you buy a pair and now they re absolutely perfect When you go to buy a pair check the info on the website as the recommedations regarding sizing vary according to the sole your boots have Granted my boots only get worn for 3 or 4 months a year but in their first winter I wore them pretty much every single day from December to April in consistently cold snowy conditions around the minus 10-20 celcius mark and they are beautifully warm and comfortable without ever making your feet feel overly hot or sweaty I have also worn them in milder climates and they re great for less extreme cold too so are very versatile Although I didn t specifically purchase a waterproof style they seem to hold up pretty well in slush and the occassional puddle I especially love the flexible minimalist Vibram sole which is what decided me on these over other winter boots the only thing I would say is that they re not great in very slippery conditions I don t slide all over the place in them but I am extra cautious as the soles do sometimes slip on ice If you are on the fence about purchasing a pair or are weighing up your options and the practicality of these alongside other winter boots like Sorels I can say without hesitation that these beat other brands I have tried and are totally worth the cost

Made in China and Vietnam
First I called in to ask about status tax relief and was told to email my card with order number and they would credit me back the monies Got an email that said it was only to those on reserves That wasn t explained in the phone call prior to my order or I wouldn t have placed the order However they did reimburse me the taxes Customer service could be better for sure Claim to be indigenous company helping indigenous So I was disappointed that mukluks are from Vietnam and hats are from China Some designs are from non indigenous artists Can t return items as all sales are final Would never buy anything else from this company Didn t even want to give them a one star

US Residents Get Ripped Off
Manitobah Mukluks has dishonest marketing practices I was initially enticed by sale mukluks with free shipping Tried calling several times to learn more about sizing and and quality They don t offer returns even if defective Seriously why would anyone spend 200 without some assurance Also discovered they charge Americans more money for the same boots as they don t adjust the price for currency difference The Canadian dollar is about 75 to the US dollar which means that the consumer is overcharged 50 for a 200 pair Got run-around when credit card charge didn t work When questioned about it they claimed the price difference is for shipping So US Americans pay 50 for free shipping Just admit you charge for shipping and make the charge reasonable I need to research but suspect the overcharging violates US Canada trade agreements

Bought a pair of boots based on a
Bought a pair of boots based on a blog s recommendation as I needed winter boots to prevent constant slipping and falling The ordering process is easy - they have no issue taking money The issue is that for some reason I am being blocked online from submitting a refund form However I triple checked that my item was NOT final sale before purchasing Therefore I require intervention from someone working in the company But I ve been attempting to email and call them consistently to get a refund because my boots are too large and there is zero response The phone number they provide works but no one answers I honestly don t understand how they can run a business nowadays with such terrible service

Poor Quality
I have gone through MANY pairs of their slippers some were purchased by me others by friends family Most with real fur trim and one with faux fur For how pricey these slippers are the quality is total crap Each pair fell apart rather quickly Upon reaching out to customer service with images of the rips and poor craftsmanship took quite a while to respond they wanted me to find the receipt and ship them my slippers for inspection Seriously I try to support Canadian business bus this is just bad pricey products with crap craftsmanship The current pair that I have is completely falling apart and I am not buying anything from them anymore

1 STAR ONLY very poor customer service
1 STAR ONLY because they are beautiful boots but what an investment Had mine for less than a month then my dog chewed the fur off one My own fault I know Manitobah s repair department is closed due to COVID so I can t get them fixed even Manitoba wasn t willing to help even though I was fully willing to pay for repairs Just want to wear them They wouldn t let me buy more fur to replace the damage or even let me buy one boot I was only offered 10 off my next purchase which will never happen after this experience Very dissapppointed customer

TERRIBLE Customer Service
I like the idea of their product and I want to support Canadian business but their customer service is absolutely TERRIBLE I have spent over a month trying to get a warranty issue resolved with a pair of slippers that I received as a gift I jumped through all of their hoops providing receipts pictures and even returned the old slippers to them Now they have my slippers and I still haven t received my replacement My next move will be contacting the better business bureau

Not Worth the
None of the material for the boots or two pairs of mitts I purchased were Canadian The soles were made in Vietnam and the rabbit fur was from China which I highly question the ethicalness and humane practices behind attaining the fur in China Aside from the design and perhaps sewing there wasn t much Canadian about them Would not purchase from them again

My mocassins developed a hole within 2
My mocassins developed a hole within 2 days and I can see clearly it a hole in suede and not seam which would be repairable Sent photos but company wants to assess themselves and needs me to return However they cannot offer a replacement in my size and instead of a refund offered a code to shop I do not want another lousy product Of course I now see the tag indicating the boots were made in Viet Nam so this is misleading to people who they are supporting Canadian indigenous people They arent at all They have merely private labelled a shoddily assembled product
