Yellow rain warning for Wednesday in my area with the forecast for the next week thereafter cloudy but rain free Every day since then there has been a yellow rain warning raining but not heavy Appreciate the science is not 100 accurate but come on surely you can predict fairly accurately even over a short two day period at least Hope not much tax is spent on this unreliable department

So useless Forecast for Nottingham at 10am it s 10am so no forward forecasting needed says less than 5 rain I m sat in my car unable to get out with my dogs as their s torrential rain On a daily basis I change plans based on met office forecasts which more often than not are completely inaccurate Going to buy some seaweed and a pine cone

Nothing but rubbish from these people They state facts like hottestcapril ever when presenter is wrapped up for the artic May the same Rain rain rain temperatures barely at 10 degrees yet hottest on record Stop with the fake false and downright insulting rhetoric on climate change

Totally useless if you want to plan a day ahead weather wise Very inaccurate It s supposed to be a weather forecast but it seems to find it impossible to get the weather right day to day Checked it yesterday and it was supposed to be beautiful early morning sunshine today but woke up to rain and dark grey skies It s absolutely pointless to look at this forecast I can t believe people actually get paid to do this I suppose it has become more difficult recently to forecast due to the continual cloud seeding that is going on Early morning today was a beautiful clear sky then the long white lines started appearing then spreading out and are still going on 9 hours later

Ask your dog better chance of an accurate report

Reading tea leaves from the bottom of a mug asking a passing magpie for a prediction or simply random guessing - all these methods would be more reliable than the Met Office I live in the Lake District and this is by far the least accurate method of predicting the weather Just never correct I honestly feel that they are trolling the UK population as random chance would be more accurate than this laughable excuse for a weather service Just ask your dog in future - better chance of getting it right More chance of Vladimir Putin being granted the Nobel Peace Prize than the Met Office getting one single thing correct

Very poor employee experience

Despite highly promoted inclusive caring and modern culture employee welfare bullying and harassment from senior staff and managers was evidenced and even after concerns were raised they simply chose to shut the door and sweep it all under the carpet Yet another public services debarcle Leave well alone

What a load of rubbish you cannot use the site to plan for days it said on the site today being Sunday 1st September 2024 that it s full sun with bit of cloud woke up looked outside to find its almost flooding The weather is corrupt funny how during covid every day was sunshine for months now post covid the weather has been the worst ever

Laughably bad

The endless incorrect weather warnings are becoming something of a joke The website showed a 95 chance of thunderstorms within the hour yesterday and low and behold we had blue skies throughout the day How can a multi-million pound organisation get it so so wrong Even the website map didn t show a drop or rain or single clap of thunder anywhere in the region so they can t even pull the old we don t know exactly where it will hit card I m currently sat in 23 degree blue sky weather in the grip of a 2 day yellow warning for thunderstorms It s got to the point where it the Met Office forecast rain I feel confident heading out in a tshirt
