Inadequate Probably a scam

On the website they claim that delivery takes from 3-5 working days I am now on working day 9 and have not been given any updates on my order I have used their live chat service twice and both times the only response that I seem to get is we dont know whats happening with your order I have also left a message using the contact us option though I have recieved no response on this The tracking page tells me that it has been delivered but it most certainly has not At this point this service honestly feels like a scam escpecially considering that most of the 5 star ratings are invited I would highly recommend that consumers not be tempted by the low prices and go with a reputable alternative like Lidl or Aldi

No communication and poor practices

Ordered on Sunday and wasn t dispatched until 9pm Thursday No delivery updates provided and no tracking info now that it has been sent I m just left to guess when it might arrive In addition the dispatch email says something to the effect of we hope you get everything you ordered and then if you look a little further into this they say in the FAQ that they will refund the difference if anything is missing which is a terrible practice Almost every other company would notify you at the point of dispatch to confirm you still wanted the rest of the order I remain hopeful that I will actually receive the items I ve ordered in a good condition but having looked at other reviews I will not hold my breath

DREADFUL packing means a lot of damaged items

The packing practises of the company are AWFUL I have never experienced anything like it I thought it might be a one-off but reading the reviews here it seems it s a common occurrence It appeared as if the items had literally been thrown in the box with heavy bottles placed sorry slung on top of biscuits crisps and other items I had to throw away several items as their packaging had been broken open by heavier items squashing them I honestly don t comprehend why they pack this way I could understand if they were giving the stuff away but we re paying for a service and making them a profit Unless they change the way they pack orders I would absolutely avoid ordering from Motatos

Extremely disappointed

Extremely disappointed The prices and items even the short sell by date and items out of date were fine The packaging was NOT ACCEPTABLE All of my items packaging was covered by hand soap or sanitizer as these werent protected Sad to care so little about these not leaking on products and packaging Would NOT recommend unless they learn to pack without wet liquid items ruining boxes so soggy and soap on items

Shocking service Terrible communication no commitment to delivery times The Company has to be a scam organisation and can t believe the use of emojis in their feedback on here It s like a ghost organisation I haven t had a reply yet from my emails that doesn t appear to be from a child or a robot I just want my money back and shouldn t have to phone in for that If emails were being read by humans they should respond I will never again use this company It s a true saying if it s too good to be true that s because it is Motatos appears to be marketing items that other retailers can t sell and are out of date don t deliver but keep your hard earned cash in the process BEWARE
