Look no further for your new kitchen

We recently moved to the area and the property we purchased required some updating including a new kitchen In order to have the kitchen upgraded we also needed some extensive structural plumbing and heating reconfiguration involving the removal of walls a chimney breast and the relocation of the boiler and hot water tank We were uncertain how to proceed given the amount of work involved and the diversity of expertise needed We happened upon Neat Kitchens in Portishead and began discussions with their design team on what we wanted to achieve and the preparatory work needed in order to realise our dream We were introduced to Matthew at Neat early on who completed a site visit and then went away to assess the work and came back with an estimate on the cost of completing all of the work required which we were comfortable with and agreed to proceed We then started to work with Daniel Neat s Lead Kitchen Designer to bring our ideas to life Daniel was very adept at making suggestions to optimise the layout maximise space and making the right choices regarding the design and fine detail It took a few iterations but we were able to land on our perfect kitchen We there then introduced to the team who would collaborate on the necessary demolition making good plumbing electrical and ultimately the install of the kitchen during a joint site visit We agreed a start date and received the plan including the timeline of the work and were delighted at how quickly the work could be done given the scope During the entirety of the project we were kept fully up to date on progress and engaged throughout to make critical decisions Everyone was great at solving the obstacles that are unavoidable when your house was built in the 1800 s which meant that all challenges were overcome Special mention goes out to Matthew Neat Kitchens and Nigel NMC Construction for their innovative ideas on the fine detail and problem solving In less than 2 months we experienced a complete transformation of our separate breakfast room and kitchen into a spacious open plan kitchen with beautiful high-quality cabinets and finishings along with a new casual sitting area We are thrilled with the outcome and would fully recommend Neat for your kitchen as well as your renovation work

In summary we are delighted with our new kitchen beautifully designed by Neat Kitchens In our view our new kitchen is a triumph and exceeds our already high expectations Without hesitation we would highly recommend Neat Kitchens Our project was not only to replace our tired kitchen but to create a new access better linking the dining and sitting areas Also the removal of a stub-wall to expose previous dead space The existing doorway was to be blanked off and used to house a full height larder cupboard We first went to the Neat Kitchens showroom in Portishead easily accessible from the M5 with plenty of parking and a bright airy showroom with a good range of kitchen styles on display Armed with our initial ideas and a brochure we arranged a site meeting with Matthew Neat s project manager An initial design quickly followed from Daniel Neat s lead kitchen designer Just a few iterations later we were ready to go The works started on time and completed to budget and as scheduled Our grateful thanks to all the Neat staff involved a great team performance Plaudits To Matthew and Daniel for their experienced advice and creativity throughout the project To Warner for outstanding work in fitting the kitchen ably assisted at times by Jordan and James To the plumber Neil whose technical skills and problem solving are first class to John flooring and Ben electrical and last but not least Nigel for the building alterations and plastering Nigel had previously worked for us on various projects over the years and it was a delight to meet up once again

Helpful from the start

From the start my ideas about the design of my new kitchen were listened to and never lost sight of It is a big project to completely remove and replace the kitchen Steve did a great job on the design altering some aspects as we went through the design stage Account was taken of my changes to keep within my budget but without having to compromise the overall design I was offered samples of materials to take home and view on site The final design was presented on screen in the showroom I felt I had a good idea of the end product Matt was in charge of the management of the installation He scheduled all the tradesmen and was hands on throughout the project All those who came were pleasant and highly competent All waste was removed from my flat with great care ensuring the cleanliness of the building and noise kept to a minimum working within the permitted hours The waste was sorted and removed daily My kitchen is accessed through the lounge and so the floor was protected at all times As the contractor fitting the floor was unable to come for 6 weeks Neat fitters came back to ensure the kickboards fitted properly after the flooring was laid I have no hesitation in recommending this local company They encompass attention to detail and excellent service

I ve never bothered with reviews but felt compelled to share my experience with Neat Kitchens as it was such a positive journey From the moment my wife and I entered the local showroom we knew we need look no further Local honest individuals that provided a professional service without the pressure of desperate selling tactics The product was great the service was great and the fitter s workmanship was also fantastic A cool professional relevant independent business that I know and hope will do very well Thankyou Neat kitchens for a memorable shopping experience and an amazing kitchen
