Random cold call Claimed I had completed an online survey The lady was very polite and professional but couldn t provide me with any details about this supposed survey I explained that I don t fill in surveys except for the NHS I don t randomly give out my contact details She went on to explain that someone may have done this on my behalf which is a disturbing thought I politely declined the offer of a specialist coming around to my house to provide a demonstration and she then asked why After stating that I know people who have had such visits that the equipment is usually very expensive I m sure this wouldn t be a problem because you probably provide finance which is also expensive The lady did not deny or acknowledge this but instead stated well we are here should you need us Totally unsolicited call that I never requested and based on some of the reviews I have read I never will RESPONSES to reply below I would like more information please as to how you obtained my contact information without permission You already have my contact details I look forward to hearing more from you soon I have filled in the request for more details form including my email address and confirmation of phone number PLEASE DO NOT USE this information to send further junk mail or supply to other providers I was unable to provide a reference number as the lady did not give me one she only stated that your company information hence my review The number she called on was 01293 208 484 at 11 31 am on the 3rd January 2024

Terrible service - In January my elderly father called
In January my elderly father called this company as his remote control for his chair had broken -he paid them 159 for a visit to repair the remote control At the time it was explained that my father relied on the functionality to manage his pain and to assist him to get up to his walker I ve just phoned them today to find out when the repair man would be coming given nearly four months had passed since he d paid his 159 for the repair visit as pleasant as the lady was she couldn t advise me of the actual date they would come I ve requested a refund which they ve confirmed BUT the point is had I not have chased them my poor dad would have been waiting In pain never knowing when it was getting fixed -very disappointed with this terrible service

I recently bought the Niagara therapy massager
I recently bought the Niagara therapy massager I have never opened the postage packing and have not wanted to try the product I didn t really like the product when the salesman demonstrated but feel I was talked into it It is now past the cool off period as well as the extended period and the company will not buy the product back It cost me over 3 000 The salesman contacted me and said he will come and give me another demo which I don t want I now have a phobia about the product What can I do about this

DO NOT BUY
DO NOT BUYWe purchased a recliner chair with massage 31 5 years ago All was well until the control hand control failed this cost over a 100 to have replaced this failed again and had to pay again Earlier this year after another failure where the chair stayed in the reclined position we had to stop using it A inspection engineer on a free checkup arrived and found that the lead was damaged not enough to stop it working said that we would need to call out an engineer at a cost of 120 and left not bothering to do any other checks if had look properly he would had found that the main frame had snapped I call out an engineer for what i was expecting to replace the cable and or hand control but on first inspection he informed me that the frame was broken and would cost 650 - 1200 to repair to make matters worst i still had to pay for the call out This was a chair that cost 4000 and only lasted 3 years Take my advice DO NOT BUY THESE CHAIRS

I purchased one of these chairs 2019 had replacement after2 months still the chair is rubbish my advise don t Buy from adjustamatic which is the old fashioned name for these chairs
I purchased one of these chairs 2019 after a couple of months had to have it replaced The replacement chair the seat has gone very flat and gives me no support whatsoever I ve to use an NHS cushion to sit on which means I m not getting the benefit of vibrations Ive been ignored and am nor very happy it s still under warranty and they put it down to wear Do not buy Customer service is shocking

Stay away Very bad aftersales
Bought the top of the range chair at sale price of 2000 00 A month later the seating sponge tilts to the left Engineer visited looked at a distance and said will be back Customer Service non-existent for complaints but Customer Service Sales is open and takes calls Sales person reminds me of Double glazing salesmen in the 90 s in my opinion I would not buy any chair from Niagara Healthcare Tony D

Terrible company
Terrible company prey on vulnerable people My mother bought an ajustamatic bed throughout the consultation she stated several times that she wanted a normal sprung mattress as she does not like memory foam Consultant stated that he would make sure it wasn t a memory foam mattress When delivered it s a memory foam mattress On ringing the consultant he talked my mother into trying it for a couple of weeks Unfortunately he did not explain that it would take her outside of the cancellation period They are now refusing to take the bed back as outside cancellation period We are just about start legal proceedings Avoid this company

Total con and preying on the vulnerable
My elderly mother recently advised she had a handheld massager that may help my bad back She pulled out the NHC Hand Unit - something that had sat in the box since the day she was conned out of her money to buy it following cold call sales I cannot even comprehend the price she paid for this Other than being bulky and impractical especially for the old and frail it does nothing other than vibrate a tens machine would be better Even at the lowest setting you would end up with white finger numbness in the hands from the vibrations Total con and should be outlawed

Missold bed to elderly couple
Missold bed to elderly couple who I am now helping to deal with being left with something which was unsuitable They were unable to address the issue due the wife being terminally ill and having now passed away the husband is left with this awful twin bed which does not fit the room At the time it provided no proper access for carers to support his wife The husband is frustrated to say the least and seriously out of pocket for overpriced goods They clearly prey on vulnerable people who believe sales men No response to a letter to them months ago Clear policy and approach of ignoring customers in hope they go away quite literally Sales agents sell what they want not what customer needs Awful Avoid
