Sexist and xenophobic news crew
Extremely rude sexist and xenophobic news crew I am global PR director at my job and responsible for media relations also a former international journalist Some time ago we had a NOS news crew come to our company to do a story As I introduced myself in English which is also the official language at the international company I work for they refused to speak to me and would only speak to my male Dutch colleague and only in Dutch They refused to shake my hand and turned their heads away and ignored me while only speaking to the Dutch colleague I mentioned whose position is not media related and whom they had never met before either It was impossible to do my job or communicate with them as they were extremely rude and dismissive when trying to do so I have never met such incredible rudeness and lack of professionalism in the 4 continents and dozens of countries I have done business in Extremely shameful that such appalling behaviour exists in a well-known Dutch news outlet Shame on you

good news source
good news source decent journalism one of the fastest to report on many subjects for example i knew about the turkish insurection trough the NOS before any other media including AP and reuters reported on it nowadays i get a lot of news directly from journalists osint online but it s still a good secondary source for more in depth looks and Dutch news

Clean site with objective news
The site is clean and easy to use Most news is objective short and easy to read A good way to get all the daily news you need I don t like that they are pushing a mobile app which offers no function over the mobile site which is really good Sometimes articles are a little to short and sometimes it would be nice to give people some general advise for example how to not fall for certain scams
