Horrendous experience

Horrendous experience with my horse when she cut her fetlock Vet bullied me into allowing him to apply a twitch to my traumatised and half sedated horse even though she was standing quietly Vet complaining about having to work the bank holiday hey guess what I d rather not be here either but my horse needs stitches I was left holding her head in my arms sobbing into her mane No support or compassion for either of us No discussion about treatment or feeding My horse was manhandled into receiving meds which made her sore and stiff in her neck requiring treatment by physio when she came home Owners are just a nuisance Don t dare question them or try to be part of your horse s routine Rudeness from staff at all levels Conveyor belt - once you re on it that s it Also very expensive and costs not estimated properly You are reminded your horse will not be released until you ve paid and they want 500 up front Complaints procedure patronising and completely ineffective I have been told by a number of other equine professionals that others have had similar experiences Hindsight is a wonderful thing My horse is wary of people now She is not the horse she was Awful experience
