Poor design

I love the idea of the brand as well as the colours and the material However the design is very poor Whenever I drink from the bottle water accumulates on the sides of the lid and mouth of the bottle and when I drink some water spills out into my t-shirt quite a lot actually This is very uncomfortable as it also falls down my chin very poor design It s also leaking a bit from where you can open it for a cup and it s only a year old

Far inferior to Chillys

My original Ocean Bottle was not keeping things cold for anywhere as near as long as my Chillys bottle which was tested in Philippines Jordan France at the height of summer As such I had a replacement Ocean Bottle but this is the same After 4 or 5 hours it s not that cold So I think generally these bottles aren t great and if you compare them to Chillys you ll be very disappointed Chillys stay ice cold in 40c plus Additionally my replacement was only the bottom half of the bottle meaning I now have another unusable bottom part which needs to be thrown away Quite ironic seeing as the who brand s USP is their eco credentials

Unlucky this time - leaks and a burn

Writing on the train with my rucksack dripping wet the second time across the last two weeks After a second degree burn on my arm in August I have stopped using hot liquids in this bottle I like Ocean bottle values however I have never experienced so much leaking with a water bottle Two openings make it easier to clean but I find it s not always easy to see whether the bottle is securely closed Either that or my bottle is faulty I have had my Chilly s bottle for 7 years now and it s been such smooth sailing so I know that I am capable of screwing lids properly on other bottles

Great look but doesn t do the job

Although the ethos behind the bottle is great the bottle does not match up to the hype As soon as you open it you see the design flaw to it ever being useful as a vessel for maintaining the heat of the beverage for any length of time The top portion of the bottle has no insulating properties so heat dissipates relatively quickly The bottle is certainly sturdy and has a great aesthetic buy does not do its job for me

I placed an order returning is not simple

I placed an order received my bottle but it was not suitable for me so I wish to return it This so far has not been met with the simplicity I expect from such a company Having been asked to notify them by email before posting back I have received no response This is running into the 30day deadline for returns I really hope to hear soon Phone calls and emails have not helped

The water bottle with a straw Ocean

The water bottle with a straw Ocean Bottle GO is a complete nightmare The water does not come out properly even after I clean all the parts and the straw is absolutely not stuck So it ended up you have to open the bottle or twist it to let air come in so when you suck the straw and water comes out The bottle itself also does leak occasionally Do not recommend

Bottle arrived but no straw Have emailed the company several times and no one has replied pretty poor really Would not recommend nor buy from them again

No free returns low quality products

Quite an expensive option for a bottle that sadly does not meet the quality promised The product has a lack of attention to detail with some of the seals not working that well and the cup-lid combo design not being an effective way to drink The material of the bottle feels terrible to touch and I can t really see why this is so premium compared to their far superior competitors Add to all that no free returns so you ll have to pay a significant fee to return Buy Chilly s instead Thanks to them for the refund

Great concept disappointing product

Love the concept and the bottle However I ve only used it a couple of times and I m surprised how quickly it get marks on the bottle that won t come off so very disappointed with the quality

I ordered a sport lid and brew lid for

I ordered a sport lid and brew lid for my wife on the 2nd of December It took over a week for Ocean Bottle to contact me to say they were out of stock I had to contact OB to initiate this dialogue Another week passed and still no order had contact from Denis to say that my order will be next week Your product is great but your service and communication with your customers is dreadful
