Petlink rejects official documents

I found it difficult to register my dog because the documentation keeps getting rejected They don t accept legal AKC papers Vets bill that has last name only Petlink Microchip documentation given by breeder does not suffice Company does not care if they lose customers Not worth the time or aggravation It is easier to enter United States of America illegally and get a driver license then registering your Pet with Petlink

AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS Customer service is atrociously bad I received a defective scanner that cost 100 and tried to get a refund but they refused and sent me another defective scanner that wont allow the battery to charge They again refused a refund and now I have a useless scanner My credit card refused a chargeback because Petlink insists the scanner was fine Now I m out 100

Terrible website and human communication Actually who even knows if Samantha is a human I tried to transfer ownership of my new adopted pet 3 times I was asked to provide 1 of 4 documentations that I now own the pet I attached 2 to my email to cover my bases so to speak I keep getting a reply I didn t give documentation

Horrible transfer process

Horrible transfer process I adopted my cat from a shelter and even with the adopter contract copy in my name submitted 8 emails back and fourth with forms rabies certificate visa card info etc submitted Petlink still will not register the cat in my name and claims The owners name is different than the form Different people respond to my emails and dont seem to see my previous emails or documents showing I am the owner It is difficult to talk to anyone by phone and they charge your card 4 50 to talk to someone I finally decided to go through another microchip service I dont trust Petlink having my visa card info after all this It looks like Im not alone with these issues They do seem like scammers the way they opperate so evasively

Absolutely horrible experience

Absolutely horrible experience trying to transfer ownership Petlink was paid by the previous owner to make the transfer but 1 month later the transfer is not completed Calling their apathetic and unprofessional customer service folks won t help either Trying to message them through their website doesn t work - no one will call you back to discuss the issue Why would anyone trust their pet s safety to Petlink Avoid this company at all costs

Scammy spammy money-grubbing company

Despite repeated unsubscribe from marketing emails they keep spamming One-Year Premium Registration Expires and try to extort you to pay 19 95 or else you can t have unlimited access to your Petlink profile whatever that means This deceptive marketing tactic has garnered a class action lawsuit for another microchip company guess petlink wants one as well No it doesn t mean your pet will no longer be registered Microchips have permanent data so anyone who scans will find the pets owner Do not let these jerks scam you into paying

Horrible service

Customer service just directed me to the website instead of handling the situation for starters Went to the website to transfer the animals that was abandoned by my x-roommate I ve been taken care of them for over a year in a half it asks for medical records but they were all up to date on vaccines and everything before she abandon them They never had any health issues of any sorts cause I take care of them and their indoor animals Unfortunately the website asks for proof of ownership they re living under my roof being taken care of by me Apparently have to jump threw hoops to get ownership Just going to drop out in the wild then

Scam Fee payment demand

I received what appeared to be an Urgent notice from Petlink stating that I needed to pay my one tme registration fee of approximately 20 After I payed the fee and the payment was shown to have been processed by my bank I still get a demand message to pay their fee Whenever I login now I continue to receive the same demand message that there is a problem with my account and I need to pay their 20 fee

I rescued a GSD that is chipped with this company The original human in her life and I have tried to get her transferred to my contact information First the chip industry is dysfunctional in our situation Don t rescue an animal that has been chipped and registered without documentation from the registry company the transfer happened Finally Petlink can t answer your challenges Professionally over the phone I provided them with her Veterinarian record but it wasn t good enough Petlink will take your money This is my 7th GSD Thanks Petlink I ll never adopt another animal that has been chipped Oh yeah my GSD partner and I will look over our shoulder or I ll get the chip removed
