The Downfall of Quality Street

Hi everyone I used to be a great lover of quality street I am 74 year old woman And yes I can still remember those magical tastes of the early 60s This is where quality street have gone wrong1 reduced the size of chocolates to nearly half Especially everyone s favourite the green triangle 2 replaced those delicious tasty centres for cheaper bland alternatives 3 your packaging The sweets look shocking Appalling even I had mine bought for Xmas and it s took until tonight to break the seal What a disappointment to the eye I hope the bosses of quality street are reading this If you want to stay in business and be selling these unexciting sweets next Xmas Then change all 3 things You are certainly doing yourself no favours They are truly something you would give a miss to

Very disappointed Poor quality wrapping Chocolate tastes cheap They had good quality chocolates that have been removed over the years but they have now excelled themselves in ruining one of the best Christmas chocolate selection I won t be buying them again awful chocolate selection

Always bought quality street over all

Always bought quality street over all the other chocolate at Christmas but after this year will NEVER BUY AGAIN look CHEAP all bloomed congratulations not to the person who decided to change the chocolates the wrapping was bad enough but the chocolates themselves is a step to do save your money do not buy gone so far down hill it unreal

Horrible chocolate disgusting centres unappealing wrapping Oh how I miss REAL Quality Street Do not bother with them next Christmas because nobody will buy the cheap and nasty things Yuck

What have they done to Quality Street first the tub is minute then the wrappers look unappealing Biting into a chocolate first the texture is wrong it s like biting into a piece of hardened fat absolutely no taste of chocolate fat and sugar sums them up I will no longer buy quality street having had a tub every year for over 50 years why did you have to mess with them they were perfect The

Will never buy these again absolutely awful chocolates Once these were wonderful chocolates now Nestle have stripped out the taste of the chocolates stripped out the balance of the chocolate and filling balance stripped out the decent wrappings How could their sensory department approve these awful chocolates Nothing Quality about these chocolates now

Terrible chocolates

Terrible chocolates wrappers are dull and boring You don t get that lovely smell like you used when you first open the tub they are tastless Not surprised that the supermarkets have so much stock left we definitely will not buy Quality street again a shame they don t live up to their name No quality in the chocolates at all

The death of Quality Street

Quality Street are a part of my childhood Christmases They looked exciting in their big tin with lovely shiny wrappers each one different The chocolates tasted good This year s miserable plastic tub was filled with tiny samey looking chocolates in weirdly muted paper wrapping almost dirty looking No Christmassy shiny wrappers any more They looked miserable and tasted even worse The chocolate had a nasty harsh cheap taste - I d rather pay more for better quality And my favourite since childhood the one we fought over in the family the purple one with its distinctive shape is now tiny round and sickly Quality Street is no longer a part of Christmas for us
