Uncorrect behavior
Suddenly the company has decided that their simple and mediocre app with 3 on off buttons previously free now costs about 24 year All of this is applied also to old customers which have bought the service because it was clearly FREE OF CHARGE

Dismal customer service
Dismal customer service Not allowed to speak to the Operations team directly To date have left 9 messages with CSR staff and no call back As per the many comments below we have been caught up with the this licence fiasco We are now not able to operate the site with the system we paid for and have been locked out unable to add or remove any users from a system Avoid these people It is of little wonder they made a loss of 108K last year

Risco not wanting to talk to customers
Despite giving Risco a detailed description of an alarm fault and a copy of the Event History and being asked to phone the support office when I got through the technician didn t want to talk to me He just reiterated I need to call an engineer at 80 per hour I asked for a user guide but was again told to call an engineer It will possibly be cheaper to get a new alarm than get help from Risco

My risco Agility 3 home alarm
My risco Agility 3 home alarm conservatory DT detector is giving numerous false alarms The system can not be trusted The system was professionally installed and meets the installation parameters set by risco The detector needs both motion and temperature variation to sound off The system sounds off at random when there is no movement and temperature is normal ambient Risco offer no support and suggest I contact the installer I would not recommend or purchase another risco product James

It was the worst alarm system I ve ever had A lot of false alarms and network interface errors It was installed by authorised Risco installer On the top of it they now introduced a subscription fee for using the simple app Without the fee you can t use the system It is not fair to existing clients who purchased this expensive system based on the fact that usage of the app is free Stay away from this company There are plenty of other better companies who provide free cloud access to your system I personally switched to Hikvision system and couldn t be happier

NOT RECOMENDED BY INSTALLER
Most of the time Risco products are good I have been a certified installer for 8 years Unfortunately I must advise both businesses and private individuals against purchasing services or alarms from RISCO THEIR SUPPORT DOES NOT EXIST It takes 3-4 months to get a response and often the answers are completely unrelated to the support case For example they almost always ask which country you are connected from After answering that question it takes another 3-4 months to get a response Since the fall of 2024 Risco has closed all possibilities for customers to control program and customize their alarms All installers have been locked out and must contact Risco for new credentials which takes several months Many do not even receive a response Therefore DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM RISCO IT CANNOT BE USED FOR ANYTHING OTHER THAN SIMPLE MAGNETIC CONTACTS THERE IS NO EXISTING SUPPORT
