Good Day Dental Care Seekers As an American who had received dental care in Thailand the past 12 years I found myself in need of finding an open country that could continue with the next phases of an implant that was started in Bangkok Brazils open border to tourism and ease of entry during the pandemic had me now searching for a caring and well regarded dental provider to continue the process I was lucky enough to identify Dr Rowan Vilar and his compassionate team of clinicians and assistants E-Consults from afar were clear caring and concise prior to making the trip and Dr Vilar takes extra time in producing a comprehensive care plan and even shares information on logistics stays restaurants activities etc which was greatly appreciated Comprehensive diagnostics that were performed were far superior to American or imaging I ve had internationally The multiple clinic locations Dr Vilar and his colleagues utilize are very clean and comfortable during your care and you are catered to with very good English and compassion during your visits Assistance by his lovely team for transportation or suggestions on the area are happily facilitated if needed and you are always checked up on to ensure a safe hotel arrival and to ensure post procedure safety and aftercare issues are remedied I must additionally highlight the providers aseptic techniques during your time in the dental chair as all instruments are autoclaved and even sterile drapes are deployed over and above the typical single facial application I also appreciated the extra pillows and blankets for comfort during longer days in the chair His cosmetic colleague performs true dental veneer artistry and she should be a must for any patient wishing to also add any aesthetic needs onto their restorative ones From a cost perspective I can only equate to that of a Thai comparison but it is on par with what I am used to paying there I believe you are discounted if paying cash in Brazil versus a credit card but I m never comfortable bringing too much cash to any location or hotel safe internationally and may recall it being around a 9 savings with USD All told Dr Vilar and his team are caring professional and competent clinicians within their respective dental subspecialties and I would highly recommend them to any foreigners in search of quality care and outcomes from a dental tourism need Dr Rowan Vilar - Ortodontia Est tica e Implantes RJ

I d been wanting to get veneers for years I never liked the look of my teeth despite going through both braces and Invisalign They were uneven small and chipped and because of that I rarely showed my teeth when smiling for photos I had been saving pictures of what I wanted my dream smile to look like for years and after lots of research and seeing what Dr Rowan Dr Gabriel and the team had accomplished in the past I knew if anyone could give me my dream smile it was them I originally assumed I would find someone close to me in NYC to do my teeth but after a friend mentioned they had gotten their teeth done by Dr Rowan and I saw how fantastic those looked I got in touch with him Dr Rowan met with me for hours and then was in communication with me for weeks leading up to my trip to Rio Throughout that time he explained in incredible detail the technology they used which is very advanced and the overall process and what to expect He took into account every aspect of what I wanted in my dream smile Seeing that they were capable of it was an obvious decision for me to go with them versus someone closer to home Dr Rowan and his team are not only more talented than anyone I could find in the U S they are also the most considerate patient and caring team I ve ever come across You do not get this kind of dedicated care in the U S in any medical field Dr Gabriel did my procedure while in Rio and carefully paid attention to the features of each individual tooth He is an artist For countless hours across a few days in the office and through a weekend so that I could come to Rio on a quick trip from Thursday to Sunday and go home with a completed smile he diligently worked on each tooth until and did not quit until my smile was perfect I still cannot believe how natural each tooth looks My result is better than any of the pictures I sent them in the planning process I will be smiling big in all of my future photos All of my happy moments will have a piece of them in it now They have an incredibly caring team that were there every day dedicated to making sure my experience was fantastic and it was I m usually a much more private person about this stuff but they all are way too amazing to not share what an incredible experience and end result this was It would be cruel to have a team dedicate this much time and attention and create such a perfect work of art and not share it with the world so everyone can know what they re capable of Plus I m so happy with it that I ve been telling everyone I see lol My family and friends are obsessed with how it came out My parents both have porcelain veneers and I m sure will be coming here for their new future sets They are blown away by the time and dedication to excellence this office has Dr Rowan you ve really created something special down in Rio Thank you so much for the smile of my dreams

As someone from the USA who was initially skeptical about getting dental treatment abroad I can confidently say that my experience with Dr Rowan and his assistant Gabriel was absolutely superb I was in search of a good dentist in Rio de Janeiro and had heard numerous horror stories about medical treatments abroad which made me quite apprehensive However from the moment I stepped into Dr Rowan s office in Ipanema all my concerns were put to rest The office was incredibly comfortable and welcoming far exceeding the standards I have experienced in the USA Dr Rowan and Gabriel were not only highly knowledgeable and attentive but also treated me with a level of care that went beyond the typical doctor-patient relationship Dr Rowan s approach made me feel like I was being treated by a friend rather than just a dentist The results of my dental treatment have been phenomenal My teeth look the best they have ever been in my life and I owe it all to the exceptional care I received from Dr Rowan and Gabriel I highly recommend anyone living in or visiting Rio de Janeiro to consider getting their dental work done with Dr Rowan You won t be disappointed
