Absolute incompetence Website doesn t work Sent a cheque to register and waited for month with no answer on the phone Subsequently and on one lucky occasion managed to register and pay via card online website has not worked since They send a threatening letter saying my cheque bounced No answer on the phone No access to their portal so cannot even check my own registration Total and complete incompetence The worst I have ever dealt with

RTB is the worst to deal with
It is sickening dealing the RTB board - a nightmare Their employees lack COMMON SENSE and return stupid responses I give up dealing with their office Let the tenants register as opposed to the Landlord and have it free of charge Perhaps it would be better from what I hear a huge amount of landlords are not registered and work it under the 6 months rule Only fools comply with the Law and we are trying to be one The RTB is painful to deal with

The system is pointless
The system is pointless managed to pay last year but this year no luck after contacting them by phone I was told there system does not work with a IMac computer i said it kinda worked last week and then froze me out so buy a microsoft computer to give them money for doing nothing by the why it s the same Mac as last year if this is the future of Ireland we are finished

ABSOLUTE SHAMBLES OF AN ORGANIZATION and even worse website
Totally not even worthy of a one star Tried on several occasions to pay my annual registration This has to be the worst website I have ever tried to navigate Got so frustrated with the website that I rang the RTB only to be put through to a lady who wasn t very helpful and had very little patience Totally unacceptable experience Why isn t anything being done when all the reviews here clearly show what a bad service is being offered to us

The RTB as a body are pointless
The RTB as a body are pointless if you rent from an agency and have a dispute with your landlord the RTB cannot get the landlords contact details so the landlord wins the case the legislation and rtb need an overall update and review

RTB very difficult to deal with
Took 50 minutes to answer the phone Then very little helpWebsite is very bad Yet they have the monopoly of power in terms of having to register a tenant or deal with disputes rent reviews etcEven fixing simple issues like amending the landlord name is very difficultAll the reviews here show a very bad service but are RTB or government officials doing anything about it

Terrible situation Peter Mcverry owns property refusing to do basic repairs told to contact rtb which I did they said on 2 different occasions they tried to ring me and since I dident answer case closedNobody ever rang no missed calls you only get on to a call center so can t deal with anyone direct message will be passed on waiting g one day for call which never came

An organization that works for the landlords
An organization that works for landlords I provided all the evidence the landlord has not given a single cent for repairs for 10 5 years The house was not broken and the landlord don t have the right keep deposit I explained that I couldn t come to the case hearing I have a small child and I don t have a car How can I arrive by taxi or on horseback I can provide documents signed by a solicitor They did not investigate did not postpone the consideration of the case they simply closed the case An organization that helps only landlords People need to write and contact newspapers TDs everywhere for which this organization receives money if they do not help people
