The lock wont lock dont work and there is no help to get no answer on the chat no clear instructions now i stand with a door that dont lock and cant leave the house

Warning - Not safe
Do not buy this lock if you want to be sure that your door will be locked You depend on a function that talks to bluetooth that is not stable I have slept and also left my house several times with the patio door unlocked Another problem related to this is that it s not possible to unlock it even if the phone with bluetooth active is nearby Very frustrating In my eyes it s an unfinished product My experience is that the technical support does not take the problem seriously They just explain how it should work without offering any action or promise to find a solution Update 2024-02-20 After almost a year I finally managed to return the lock Secuyou didn t take any responsibility for the lock issues but the wholesaler refunded me They also told me that they stopped selling Secuyou because of too many complaints Retailers I spoke to say the same thing Moreover their support was very dismissive and refused to acknowledge that there was anything wrong with the lock They repeated that the lock is a robot and therefore 100 reliable I tried two different locks where none of the promised functions worked I advise everyone against buying this product Even though a smart lock may seem tempting it s not worth it at all The product is not fully developed and the company takes no responsibility for it

Terribly executed
Nice idea but terribly executed The lock mostly doesn t connect to Bluetooth leaving me locked out of I would have trusted to be able to lock up with my phone Several times I had to remove the batteries and add they lock again Now the button from the inside is also dead in spite of new batteries I m sending it back Edit August 2023 I had to pay for the return and in the end they DIDN T give me a full refund because it was now used I returned it because it didn t work as claimed It was mostly offline and connected irregularly They paid back 65 Don t buy this

Missing parts - Bad customer service
A part was missing from the lock upon arrival Contacted the company to get this part sent separately Got a quick reply that the part could be bought on their website for 50 DDK Not pricy but still unfair when the error was in their end In addition I got a 200 DDK delivery fee Tried explaining that this seemed unfair and this time there was no reply even after several reminders

Apple TV compatibility
Be advised - this product does NOT work with the Apple TV gen 3 WiFi only model Customer service told me it would work so I purchased the lock But after the install and some research it turned out to be only the WiFi Ethernet model it has a thread border router built in So now I have to buy a new TV or HomePod The lock itself seems to be a good product easy install - however I have yet to test any of the smart functions

I had a problem with my new Smart Lock from Secuyou and sent a message through Facebook Messenger app I was surprisingly amazed when I got a respond 3 minutes later And the respond wasn t just an automatic respond it was accurate respond I needed further explanations and sent a few more messages The average respond time was 2 minutes And every respond helped me step by step and fixed my problem in 22 minutes
