Communication was very easy They presented a beautiful design but also made changes along the way to accommodate our particular preferences Will definitely be recommending Shrubhub to friends

Shrubhub was amazing just what I was looking for I got a full backyard design for my pool done for 250 Everyone was asking for 1500 or more

Blown Away

Wow I am blown away I opened up the backyard design plans from my email and I m so impressed I have a funky-shaped triangular backyard because I m at the end of a court and I wanted to accomplish a lot with my space lap pool fire pit water garden etc but I felt overwhelmed with no idea how to go about situating hardscapes and plants in any way that would flow and not feel pieced together like Frankenstein s monster At a complete loss of where to start I decided to hire Shrub Hub After reading mixed reviews online I was a little wary but I figured that for such a reasonable price it would be worth it even if to use the design as a jumping board for my own ideas It turns out a redesign is wholly unnecessary First I want to compliment the webpage as it was very user-friendly I uploaded pictures and a video of my current backyard as well as inspiration pictures I used Google Earth to provide measurements for the yard size And then I listed what I wanted included like I wanted to keep my existing 1-year old deck and what I wanted added as far as hardscapes and plants e g I like evergreens but wanted to avoid plants with thorns stickers Then I had an online phone meeting with Emily Walker who was courteous knowledgeable and thoughtfully listened to everything I said and even made some suggestions like hiding my trash cans and adding a storage shed Still I was a mix of cautious excitement and skepticism I waited from May 10 to May 29 to get my 3-D designs And they are worth every dollar I really cannot say how absolutely blown away and in love with the design I am

Seems like I got scammed by ShrubHub

This company charged me Did not provide a service Tried to sell me more services I said no They said someone would call me for a refund They never called They are not answering emails nor do they have a customer service number I feel scammed How are they in business

I would rate it lower if I could This service is horrible I paid for a design and unlimited 30 day revisions I had my design call when I goy my design back a week later it was clear the designer did not listen to anything I said I have been trying since then to reach my design consultant Dave who responded to my email saying I had to use the portal to set up a new call There is no place on the portal to do so I finally found a customer service number and spoke to someone That individual informed me that in order to speak to someone I needed to purchase another upgrade package So how do I communicate my revision requests I asked You need to use the chat feature I tried that it is unmanned So I was told to leave a chat and Dave will get back to me I asked when I was told be assured he will respond What if I am not on line when he chooses to respond I inquired well if you leave the chat for an extended period of time we will terminate the chat This is absurd I told the person on the phone to refund my money again tell Dave that on the chat So I am in a doom loop I am going to charge back my credit card and start writing more reviews I do not buy their glorious reviews and when i dug deeper I found many poor reviews They seem to be a good reputation management firm but customer service is absent This is a case of technology being used in place of service It doesn t work

Waste of money

I assumed this would be a waste of money TBH but figured it was worth a try anyway Only a few hundred dollars for landscaping designs What do I have to lose ----- Aaaaaaaaand I was correct I was on the phone with the designer for almost an hour and articulated the plans for our backyard and none of it was really followed We did not want to install walkways and masonry hardscapes sitting areas or pavers Or take up any room in our yard than it already used - we were merely looking for layering of plants to complement planned Green Giants Trees And our designs included mostly a walkway hardscapes pavers and masonry Many of the flowers plants the designer recommended couldn t even thrive because of existing trees they didn t take into account despite supplying them with many panoramic photos This was a total waste of money TBH That said the designs WERE high-quality and very thorough they just weren t useful at all

Highly disappointed would not recommend

Highly disappointed would not recommend this company to anybody The advertise that you will get a shopping list expert consultation and contractor quotes in your area and under 15 days which none of it is true I did schedule my consultation within the 15 days but as for an expert I would highly disagree She barely spoke English and I couldn t understand what she was saying and I feel my design ideas were lost in translation I provided pictures videos accurate measurements of my yard and Inspirational photos to work off of The design was completely disconnected and the only thing they really did was a design with new plants which was not my main goal The main features that I wanted were not addressed which I clearly stated in the notes I feel they were just trying to upsell their plant services which I would not be using anyways I requested a refund within 30 days and if you dig deep enough You will find their policy where they only offer partial refunds After spending 500 with upgrades they only offered me a 20 refund I normally don t write reviews but the service was so bad and I felt scammed and feel compelled to warn others seeking their services
