What s happened at Silverline Tools and their so called lifetime warranty which is useless when you can t get any customer service from them sent over 4 emails asking to be contacted without success and for such a minor issue it s very frustrating My backpack sprayer hose has split for a second time and as they don t supply parts I am required to get a new backpack which is impossible to get done if Silverline Tools don t respond to your emails or warranty claimsThe service in the past was brilliant when you could talk to a member of staff directly but in their wisdom they have withdrawn the contact numbers to call directly So I m stuck with a backpack which is useless all because of a few pennies part that I can t replace via warranty or purchase Come on Silverline Tools your not doing customers or yourself any favours by having such shocking customer service Please David McKay

It s now 8 days numerous emails and still no response from Silverline Tools Customer Service which is very frustrating and disappointing I bought a backpack pack sprayer and the house split which the replaced the full backpack however that hose has split in the same position as the first hoseMy first issue was handled without any issues via a simple single phone callUnfortunately you can t phone the customer service team now and have to send emails which they say should be responded within a business dayGuess what 8 emails sent with absolutely no response from the customer service department So anyone thinking about purchasing their products and the products guarantee looks good think again as you just can t get in touch with the customer service department I m totally frustrated with the situation but will keep trying to get a response and let everyone know the outcome from Silverline Tools Be warned about the lack of customer care

at last some customer service after 12 days and 14 emails just to be disappointed over a part that would cost about a 1 the hose on my backpack sprayer split and the backpack sprayer is like new however Silverline don t keep parts for the sprayer and under their terms you have to return the sprayer in full to allow them to supply a new one so to post back via royal mail recorded signed its 12 75 plus the time cost to package and drive to the post office for a 1 part that they should stock given that this is the second time its split is shocking so a backpack sprayer that s not Silverline from the online bidding company that is 14 75 delivered is now ordered I now know what I m doing but take my word I will never ever buy a Silverline product againThe service and customer care has to be the worst I have ever had to deal with shocking service poor quality material shocking lifetime warranty shocking delay in contacting customers just totally crap service look at other products and don t get caught out like I have and a word to Silverline is stock low cost service parts like the hose and remember we all don t have accounts with delivery companies and return postage is expensive

Useless branch lopper

I purchased a lopper which was used a couple of times well below specified limitation Within weeks the blade started to break up Clearly the metal used was inferior to what would be expected as it crystalised and became too brittle and kept shattering I contacted Siverline who advised I should return the whole product at my expense even though I sent photos of the problem It would be uneconomic to do so No realistic assistance just hurdles I will not be be recommending or buying any Silverline product in future

AVOID this compoany at all costs

So having bought and used one of their belt sanders a couple times writing a positive review etc recent events have completely changed my opinion Upon using the tool for some light work it just stopped working almost as if the plug socket had been turned off Everything checked out ok and i ended up opening a warranty claim with the tool manufacturer since they were very local to my residential address thats where the fun started 1 I rang up and asked if i drop the unit into them for repair was told yes upon arrival was told no 2 No contact made for 10 days upon me contacting them again i was told they couldnt repair the unit incompetant technicians and would send me a replacement within 3-4 days3 Over a week later nothing arrived i contacted them again and was told there was a delay in shipping my replacement and that it was going to be delivered the next day 4 2 days later no package so i requested tracking details5 2 days later i get a response only to be told they dont actually have any stock to even send me a replacement Toolsream in yeovil particulary Laura are completely and utterly uselessAVOID this company at all costs

Silverline company waste of time space and effort

Silverline tools are an absolute Con and waste of money They can t even get abrasive discs right None of their products are fit for purpose Stay away at all costs

Very poor quality do not use

Cheap rubbish that in some cases is dangerous to use I had tools that were so badly made they broke on first use or didn t work properly at all I tried selling these tools via a business and got so many returns that I gave up as they were beginning to lose me trade There are better tools out there that are not made in China so save yourself the hassle and buy another brand

Knapsack sprayer - rubbish

Knapsack sprayer We kept being told we re in a climate crisis - right We should make less waste - right So tell me why is it that every time you buy a replacement product these days - it looks like it s ready for land-fill before it s even assembled Silverline s knapsack sprayer What a piece of rubbish The whole thing looks like it s been made for about 4 I ve seen stronger plastic around fruit packaging Total garbage Won t last a month Why don t they just recycle it before they ship it to you
