Rude phone operator

Received a call from them about 20 minutes ago after signing up for a course a week ago I was in an online lecture and answered as I didn t recognise the number but decided to answer in case it was a call that needed dealing with immediately After realising it wasn t I was going to ask to be called back as I was busy The call operator with attitude asks me why I answered if I m busy I subsequently hung up after telling him to reign his attitude in and to delete my number from their database Definitely wasn t expecting to be called and rudely questioned about my choice to answer the phone

Shaw academy is a scam Fraudsters

I have taken a free course with Shaw Academy in 2013 and paid a once off fee using my account Now recently the company is been deducting money from my account and they call it subscription fees I have never subscribed for anything with the company What they do is they pretend to offer a free course and ask for a small once off charge to lure one into providing them with their banking details then continue to withdraw unauthorized purchases I have attempted several times to cancel but they refuse and continue to draw money from my account Shaw academy are scammers and fraudsters stay away stay away play far I want my money back

SCAM

SCAM I have been charged every month for two years after I unsubscribed from that pathetic website Then I received various phone calls from foreign sounding man trying to offer me subscription for free AVOID AS FAR A POSSIBLE

Harassment or over eager sales teams

This is only about the webpage and subscription process I chose not to proceed but getting repeated calls seeking for me to complete my registration Following repeated attempts at telling them I m not interested and to stop calling me I still get called I ve sent email per GDPR to remove me from their system They promised many times not to call but they still do Honestly I would have considered their services but because of the all the harassing calls they felt more like a scam

Shaw Academy - Abuse of Card details

Out of the blue Shaw Academy just took money out of my account and activated a premium account I didn t ask for I have not even been on their site since January and 6 months later they abuse the fact that they have my card information on their systems This is just Fraudulent behaviour I am now asking for a refund but realising that they have been carrying out this scam for so long without anyone stopping them

Obnoxious sales calls

Did a photography course in 2017 and started looking into doing something else recently Wish I d never done so If unsolicited sales calls weren t annoying enough these lot are also extremely pushy and hard sell and very rude when told no making sarcastic remarks like don t you want to improve yourself Maybe I would but if I want a course I ll ask for one Trying to shove one down my throat is a GREAT way to ensure I ll never want to do business with you again I don t know what the legality is of cold calling from Ireland to UK now that we re outside of the EU but either way after dealing with that guy I ll be sure to make people aware of this company s harassment

Sneaky business practice

I decided not to take a course after reviewing some of their options Almost a full year later I am still receiving unsolicited phone calls from the sales team customer service asking me to sign up They also asked some personal questions like what was I doing now and why was I not taking their course Extremely inappropriate I would definitely recommend avoiding this kind of business I have asked to be taken off their call list 3 times The final time I cautioned that I would be forced to seek legal advice if it continued

I did a review a round a year ago I have mentioned that I get a lot of messages on my personal phone and emails from them which is really annoying After writing a review here they deleted it They still sending me a lot of emails although I did not sign up or gave them my information I am not interested in receiving anything from them Their website is stealing information as I can see not secure statement on my browser
