Regret

We had got the 65inch sky glass for our living room looks great picture and sound quality is good However multiple manufacturing problems with the Tv and my assumption is that sky knew about this hence palming off these tv s with all the extras etc - The Tv likes to not turn on and be stuck on stand by so you have to mess around unplugging plugging it back in - We ve had our second remote delivered now and it s still faulty will not always co- operate with the Tv - Tv channels freeze - apps like YouTube will not open at times - sky s voice recognition is absolutely shocking and you will find your self screaming at the Tv - at times if you re having a conversation the channel can change as for some reason the TV thinks you re talking to it even though you haven t said hello sky Ultimately I would advise against this tv and I wouldn t want somebody to make the same mistake a we have I m now stuck in a contract paying for a tv that raises my blood pressure everyday

Sky recommend friends and family

Wanted a new tv broadband provider and after a lot of research I decided sky glass and sky broadband was for me Also they were advertising recommend a friend with a 100 voucher to us both This voucher was to arrive after 100 days The vouchers have never arrived and after a few calls to the relative dept the issue still has not been resolved Just been kept on hold for over 30 mins whilst the person dealing with this went to ask her boss Gave up waiting Gunna cost more in calls at this rate Be wary be very wary of what s on offer

Sky Glass

Sky Glass Worst decision we ever made Over complicated and glitchy and to be honest just rubbish Not even as good as the basic out dated service we previously had I honestly wish we d had sky q instead Tonight I tried to watch 3 different channels every one of them cut out after 5 minutes and went a blue screen with the heading there is a technical fault with this channel Please try again later I d love to say this the first time it s happened but sadly no Honestly not worth the money the charge and definitely doesn t live up to the hype Their incredible new router is also terrible and we regularly lose connection In summary if you are thinking of getting Sky Glass don t bother

I actually like Sky TV but awful customer service

I actually like Sky TV The format content and usability is good What I don t like is the absolutely awful customer service It is virtually impossible to speak to anyone if you have a problem Spending 20 minutes on an automated call or trawling through help articles None of which resolved my issues Then when I finally thought I was going to speak to a human being I got an automated message saying the office was closed and cut off The other bit I hate is the ask the community I may be alone here but might as well walk down the road randomly knocking on doors asking if they have any idea how to fix my Sky TV

Do Not Buy Sky Glass

Good sound that s about it picture ok if your directly in front of the TV if your slightly at the side the picture quality is very poor The TV keeps hanging for no apparent reason screen will suddenly go blank you have to be careful with the remote as it confuses the TV and nothing will work Syncing of sound with the picture is out of sequence and very annoying we are on Sky s fastest broadband but still experiencing these problems We have had Sky Glass for three months and it s getting worse it definitely seems they have bought this out too soon before they have sorted out all the kinks Would I go for Sky Glass NO would I recommend Sky Glass NO

Well feel slightly conned

Well feel slightly conned no EFL Red Button this season and of course Sky didn t inform their sports subscribers shhhh Add to this that Paramount Movies don t download properly on Sky cuts to the end scenes after around 15 minutes Sky told me they would sort it of course they haven t For such a large company incredible lack of customer technical care They haven t stopped taking my subscription though obviously support is one sided

DONT get Sky Glass until you ve read this then decide

I decided to buy a Sky Glass TV at the same time I switched to Sky Broadband as BT were hiking the price and rhe Sky Broadband deal was 18 for 18 months TV is nice to look at and built in sound bar is fine for me not great but OK for a medium sized room After a few months of issues the TV was replaced by Sky without any quibbles so first class service Then I discovered you can t add any additional apps other than the very very very limited Sky list I like US sports but couldn t load either the NFL or MLB apps The TV glitches most days especially on UHD channels which ironically can t run on Sky s poor Broadband speed of 75mbs Even on normal channels the TV stops and says waiting for program to load I never had this issue with my Samsung TV My advice don t buy Sky Glass yet there are too many bad reviews and rumours even SKY engineers see this as a 1st Generation test unit which will eventually get better I have just moved to 3 for Broadband as Sky want 35 a month for a crappy 75mbs service I ve just got a deal for 11 for first six months then 22 for 18 months from 3 and that s for their 150mbs Broadband and 5G service

Expensive and dont care about disabilities

Loved the TV channels service was ok but expensive BB expensive phone not optional and expensive get the drift here Worst thing was that I am partially deaf and NEED subtitles despite lots of calls they leave it to your own devices to get them per channel NOT EASY Went to Virgin cheaper and subtitles for all channels programs that offer subtitles are a two button push job Learn from your opposition SKY

Please please don t buy a Sky Glass

Please please don t buy a Sky Glass without doing your research Very bad milky picture unless you are directly in front of the screen sound does not match up with the picture if you have a black background it is VERY Patchy If you go to fast with the controller the picture will hang and you need to reboot The tv will just suddenly hang and again you will need to reboot we have Sky s fastest broadband and it still happens I think they should have sorted out these glitches before going to market Would I buy a Sky Glass now knowing what I do NO

Tital lack of customer service

Called 6 weeks ago to amend package was quoted 5 for essentials tv which i was happy with however they keep billing me for 15 Raised a complaint which they closed on the basis I need to phone up why as the issue should be simple to resolve Guess what 20 minutes on the phone again and still not resolved Is there any customer service with this company Have given 2 stars on the basis that broadband is better than I had with Virgin but the benchmark isn t high
