We have a CCJ upheld against Sky for the damage caused to our Sky Glass TV back in September The CCJ was issued to Sky in November as they had failed to respond to the court in time Sky and their legal team continue to dispute the CCJ and have refused to pay up despite the court ordering them to Instead of settling the case and apologising they have instructed their legal team to appeal the CCJ and claim to have tried to contact me to resolve the case They haven t I haven t received a single email or letter from a person other than automated stuff To top things off we cancelled the streaming service when out TV which we owned broke We were out of contract so within our rights to do so Since September we have received monthly emails threatening debt collection for unpaid streaming service fees even though we cancelled When I phone the collections team they always say don t worry we ll sort it as we can see you informed us you were cancelling back in September Unbelievable I can t attach evidence on this review but it is on other Google reviews that I have left for Sky Still a wall of silence

I ve had Sky Glass since May last year

I ve had Sky Glass since May last year It s a waste of money always experiencing faults Doesn t load definitely not getting the features I m charged for I ve not really been watching because it s that bad and my freeview has worked better and as for channels it s nothing but repeat My partner has the same issue I recieved a text about if I cancelled the debit it doesn t cancel the service Is it a mass exodus or threats I m saying to anyone it s is the worst thing to get roped in

Sky Glass has been one of the worst

Sky Glass has been one of the worst decisions I ve made when switching from Sky Q Here s why First the TV itself isn t great quality-wise For the money we re paying I d expect better Yet I find myself having to switch off the power at least once a month to reset it which is frustrating As for the Sky Puck upstairs despite the router being nearby it s plagued with lag and frequent out-of-sync voice issues on the TV It feels like Sky has seriously dropped the ball when it comes to reliability and performance Sky Q was a much better system offering greater stability and quality Unfortunately with Sky Glass the quality just doesn t seem to match the hype For the money we pay Sky really needs to do better

Terrible engineers terrible customer service overpriced

Awful customer service terrible engineers who don t turn up on time leave a mess and have a terrible attitude this is based on more than one visit Internet service is inconsistent prices for TV are overpriced All services now just cancelled for the above reasons long standing customer of over 8 years this time round gone and probably gone for good Complacency is poison in business

Sky glass is a disingenuous miss sale do not purchase Came to the end of my contract to be informed all the voice controls will disappear if I do not continue my Sky tv package subscription The t v itself is substandard especially if you compare its cost to a tv on the market for even half the price

Sky Glass poor and lacking in functionality

I had sky HD until recently but was persuaded to go for sky glass due to tidying up living room by removing HD box and the associated clutter of wires plus getting the interest free 55 tv So far so good At same time got sky broadband promising superfast connection However the installer put broadband box in my bedroom not living room where I wanted it and where tv is His answer the broadband entry connector is at back of property and so the box was installed there with no option to move it to where I actually wanted it He refused to install in living room as needed extra work to run cables and didn t have time Helpfully he suggested I could do it or pay someone to do so That should have raised alarm bells So got tv installed all ok and it looks nice good sound and picture quality but it has a tendency few times a month to start buttering and lose signal from the broadband in the bedroom So I start using it to record programmes but what happens in at least half of all times I record is that after few days sometimes even the next day the film is not available from the playlist I tried to watch a film from night before where I recorded it it showed up on playlist but won t play or helpfully you get directed to sky store to pay to watch the film I think I ve recorded This is an outrageous rip off as I pay over 100 month for full package I get regular outages and I m asked to pay to watch movies I ve recorded On the old HD box I just watched when I felt like it no problem Finally you can t connect a USB to the sky glass tv neither can you connect to the lightning port It s also impossible to mirror your phone to the sky glass tv I d have done better just getting a smart tv and keeping my HD box Had I known I would not have gone for the sky glass package nor the sky broadband

DISGUSTING COMPANY My mother who has dementia has seen her bill increase over the months spent over an hour trying to cancel her sky tv for them to keep trying to get her to stay offering deals that were not what they said and when she begged them to close the account they cut her off so she has to go through it all again

Sky TV - Rip Off

I have been contracting Sky TV services for 20 years I never complained but since retirement Sky TV costs have been increasing rapidly Even within contract Sky has no hesitation of increasing certain prices by 9-12 in the middle of contract Today contract expired and they hiked up the the overall price by 20 When you speak to Sky Customer Service based in India they bamboozle you with different prices customer new or old etc They are allowed to lie twist change prices at whim This is not an acceptable way of trading Sky need to look at really negative feedback it is getting I will be speaking to the regulator OFCOM about how they discriminatively treat long term loyal customers and their pricing on the web vs what they offer on the phone

Unwilling to help after 19years with them They expect me to find magic money whilst in financial difficulty My partner is living on borrowed time whilst awaiting a transplant but get no empathy from robbing SKY They just want my magic money

Been having signal problems due to a

Been having signal problems due to a technical issue I have been trying to sort this out now for two months with the so called customer service Still awaiting a reply All I get is a complaints number and nothing else Complete waste of space But they still expect their payments for a service that is not fit for purpose
